Chapter 4 - Home! Family!

The thought of having a family again was something only those who have gotten a second chance, like him could understand.

Inside the house, Li Xian collected everything of importantance and arranged them properly in his suitcase.

What was of little use was thrown in the garbage bags.

He had no plans of coming back to this place. The world was about to change, and he decided to head back to his family for the next period of time.

He even was lucky to obtain some train tickets online before informing his mother of his journey.

He didn't waste time and once he was gone, packed up all his belongings and walked off.

Pulling his baggage oh the streets, he felt a strange sensation as he looked at the people and buildings around him.

"What a rare sight!" This scene was indeed something he had forgotten about.

Despite having obtained longer lifespan, he didn't have any inner peace in tha slighest.

But his thoughts came to an abrupt end, as he watched a vehicle approach fron the distance.

The vehicle had a strange poster and after he set his eyes on it, some vague memories seemed to resurface in his mind.

"Wait! I remember something I had overlooked! The stellar storm was not the first appearance of steller energy in the world! It was just the major reported event. I remember now! Back then a rumor about an earth quake always happening in the depths of the Ming City forest. Now that I'm heading back home, perhaps I can use this chance to also invistigate this." He had made up his mind.

He couldn't miss out on important opportunities. Being ahead of others clearly was a good thing as it meant he might be able to easily acquire any resources that appeared in the future.

Only a fool would think that it didn't matter if others were ahead, after all the leaser the competition the better things would become.

If he wanted to curve out some path for his family to survive in this life, it couldn't be done without enough resources either.

Just like that, he arrived at the largest train station in the city and boarded.

He had not felt this way for a long time. When the world changes, even use of some commonly available means of transport is going to become a privilege.

He knew why, after all the threats that came along with using such means we're no longer small. Security and all the other charges involved made it impossible for those that had yet to rise up in such a world to make any waves.

For Li Xian at the moment, use of such means wasn't a big issue as his family was well off.

While he was resting with his eyes closed, a female voice sounded.

"Excuse me! Can we change seats." He turned over and saw a woman with her hair dyed purple.

Beside her was a young man, of the same age, wearing large glasses with pierced ears.

Just from one glance he could tell this two were not here to discuss with him. They were giving him a notice. It was a shame that he wasn't in the mood to tolerate them.

It was just that the two were trying to intimidate him to give up space for them, so they could sit together, but when their gazes met they actually trembled in fear.

Li Xin's eyes were ice indifferent and to them it felt suffocating as if some invisible hand was pressing on their hearts.

He didn't dwell on them much the just looked away, and the woman collapsed on her knees, while the young man behind her barely managed to support himself in the seat behind him.

It was just not the look in Li Xian's eyes, but his fifth level of the mind state.

The two felt as though they had just walked out of the gates of hell and after recovering, rushed away in fear.

That experience was unpleasant and it made them traumatized.

The person involved Li Xian just watched all this with indifference as though it had nothing to do with him.

He might have gone too far in other people's minds, but he didn't care much.

For him, it was much better to avoid troubles if possible and if trouble can be welcomed then if had to be made big.

It the current situation, he cut it off before it was even able to arise.

He didn't concern himself with where they went after they were scared off. He closed his eyes to rest. He had been exhausted from the moment he entered the dream dimension. He was able to remain awake due to his higher state of mind, but this wasn't the case for those that had gotten an opportunity to enter that place.

Even though his mind state was higher, it was something he had brought with him from his previous life and not attained through step by step cultivation.

Since it wasn't obtained from step by step accumulation, his body and spirit naturally where lacking and had to adapt slowly.

He couldn't completely ignore the impact of having visited the dream dimension.

His spirit was exhausted as such he felt sleepy most of the time and this was normal.

It was just that he could decide not to sleep, but this would result in his recovery being delayed.

He didn't want to waste time and opportunity such at this as such he closed his eyes to sleep.

The time he opened his eyes again, the sound of a bell resounded forcing his eyes to open.

"We have already arrived!" He yawned as he stood up.

He had not expected time to flow so fast. Taking his small bag, he moved to the cargo section to collect his suitcase.

But on the way, he run into the two fellow he had scared before. He had no idea how they managed to travel, but didn't bother to find out.

He passed by them without even looking at them. The two were tense and only regained their clarity after his figure had vanished from their sight.

"What is wrong with you two?" A young man that they had befriended on the way noticed their situation and asked.

"Nothing!" It seemed they had decided not to talk about it anymore.

But the fear as well as resentment in their eyes was evident.

It was a shame they had no idea how he had made them feel as though death was approaching them.

That suffocation and struggle to breathe had already been eched deep inside their minds.

Li Xian walked outside the train station and heard a familiar shout from the distance.

"Son!.."

Turning his head, it was his mother, Mo Qingcheng.

He discovered she still looked just like someone in their early thirties.

"My mom indeed has good genes! No wonder each of us looked so good!" He praised himself as he walked over.

"Elder brother!"

"Elder brother!"

When he was walking over, he heard a call and looking behind his mother, two girls stood.

They were indeed his younger sisters.

Tears welled in his eyes as he see his family again.
