Chapter 97: Departure
"It's here," Sif whispered.
"What's here?" Jane asked, confused.
Sif explained, "The Bifrost, which will teleport us back, has arrived."
"Oh my god," Coulson felt everything that happened today was unbelievable and completely shattered his worldview.
"Haha! We can finally go home!" Good Thor exclaimed happily.
Smack! A rock hit Good Thor's head.
Good Thor turned back and saw Evil Thor's malevolent gaze.
"Before we go home, let's settle the score, especially with you, you nauseating fellow," Evil Thor said, standing in front of the Bifrost, blocking Good Thor's path.
Silas nodded. "I think you're going to regret that."
"Regret?" Evil Thor chuckled lightly. "Sorry, I, Thor, never regret anything."
Silas stopped talking, shooting two beams of white light from his hands. One end bound Evil Thor, and the other bound Good Thor.
Suddenly, a yin yang diagram appeared behind Silas, with two tigers roaming within the diagram, accompanied by the sound of roaring.
Roar!
With a tiger roar, Good Thor and Evil Thor suddenly lost control of themselves and flew toward each other.
"No! I don't want to go back!" Evil Thor crouched down, gripping the ground with his hands, his lightning power constantly resisting Silas.
Compared to Evil Thor, Good Thor was much more compliant. He opened his arms and said, "Come back, Thor. We are one."
Boom!
Ultimately, Evil Thor's power was no match for the Yin-Yang balance power of the Tiger Talisman. The two Thors collided, and a flash of white light ensued.
"I, Thor, have returned," Thor said, opening his eyes and weighing the hammer in his hand. He extended his hand to Silas and smiled. "That little farce was certainly interesting."
"It's not very pleasant to insult yourself and fight yourself, is it?" Silas asked, shaking Thor's hand.
Thor rolled his eyes. "That feeling was indeed unpleasant."
"Alright, you need to go back now. Until next time," Silas said, patting Thor's shoulder.
Thor nodded and walked toward Jane. "Jane, I have to go back."
"Thor, what on earth just happened?" Jane still hadn't figured out what exactly had occurred.
Not just Jane, everyone else was equally bewildered.
"Uh... it's a bit complicated. I'll come straight to you the next time we meet. I need to leave now," Thor said, brushing the hair from Jane's eyes.
Jane said a little sadly, "Okay, when exactly will we see each other again?"
"Don't worry. As soon as I've sorted things out back home, I'll return immediately to find you," Thor said. He then turned and shouted to Sif and the others, "Guys! It's time for us to go back."
"Wait, Thor, our weapons are broken," Fandral said, picking up his long blade, which was cut in half on the ground.
Thor shook his head. "Don't worry about those. We can just ask the dwarves to fix them when we get back. The priority now is to return quickly."
"Sigh, alright," Fandral shrugged.
Silas smiled and said, "Don't be in a rush."
With that, Silas pulled the weapons of the Warriors Three and Sif from the Shadow Realm and tossed them onto the ground. "Here you go, these are yours."
"Oh no, our weapons! But what are these?" The Warriors Three looked at the weapons in their hands, utterly surprised, as did Sif, holding her spear.
Bang!
The weapons in their hands suddenly exploded into a puff of white smoke. When the smoke cleared, they had turned into ordinary wooden sticks.
"Fakes? Since when?" Sif was in disbelief.
Thor's eyes lit up. "Cool, does Earth have its own sorcerer now?"
"You should go back now," Silas said, pointing to the pillar of light from the Bifrost.
Silas had used an illusion magic even before he landed. While Sif and the Warriors Three were fighting the Destroyer, their weapons had been dropped at certain points, and Silas had taken the opportunity to use magic to swap them out. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult to cut Uru metal with the laser beam from the Pig Talisman. It would require Silas to continuously use the Pig Talisman for several minutes just to melt the Uru metal. To slice it in a second, he needed the Dragon Talisman. The Dragon Talisman could shoot out highly destructive, incinerating fire and explosion, and it could be channeled through the Pig Talisman's laser.
"Goodbye, Jane." Thor kissed Jane deeply.
"Wait." Jane ran to the side and picked up the pink cap that Good Thor had said he was going to give to Loki. "This is the cap you said you were going to give to Loki."
"Uh... yes," Thor took the cap, smiled, and tucked it into his chest. "Goodbye."
Thor led Sif and the Warriors Three to the pillar of light. The other four looked at Thor and then stepped into the light first.
"And remember to give Jane's things back," Thor said, pointing at Coulson.
Coulson quickly replied, "Of course. We don't need those items now."
Finally, Thor gave Silas a knowing look, swung his hammer, and flew into the Bifrost.
He left behind a heartbroken Jane and a stunned group of observers.
"Um... Hello, Destiny. My name is Daisy," Daisy cautiously approached Silas and poked him with her finger.
Silas smiled and extended his hand. "Hello, Daisy."
"Hello," Daisy shook Silas's hand and exclaimed excitedly, "You're so cool! Can I touch your chest?"
"Hmm..." Silas thought for a moment. "An autograph is acceptable."
"Okay, sign here," Daisy said, pointing to her chest.
Silas took out a black pen and elegantly signed "Destiny" on Daisy's chest, adding a small heart.
"This is amazing!" Daisy was almost fainting with excitement.
Silas felt a little pleased inside. Do I finally have a fan?
"Alright, lovely girl, I'm going now," Silas said, waving his right hand before entering the Shadow Realm and disappearing.
"Destiny, huh?" Coulson noted secretly. That name was truly arrogant, but at least he finally knew the name of the Man in Black.
Jane walked over to Daisy, shaking her head. "Daisy, Destiny is long gone. What are you still looking at?"
"Don't you think he's handsome?" Daisy asked with a lovesick expression.
Jane said helplessly, "Didn't you think Thor was very manly just now?"
"Now I feel Destiny is completely manly. Especially in that fight scene just now, every move he made exuded male hormones that attracted me," Daisy said, placing her hands on her chest.
"Well, he's gone now. We should hurry back," Jane said.
Daisy sighed and nodded. "It's a shame. I couldn't have a perfect encounter with such a handsome guy."
"Oh, come on. You didn't even see his face," Jane said, walking away.
"Hey! Wait for me!" Daisy snapped out of her trance and quickly followed Jane.
