At school Lorine came to class and like always she searched the room for Darian but to her disappointment he wasn't there this time and then her mind went on what he said to her. 'He f**king placed me in the friend zone, no one has ever placed me in the friend zone before especially when they know I'm interested, she's smart, beautiful and hell rich, daddy's money but still.' she thought, all this makes her wonder what in the gods name is this man f**king type.
"If h thinks I'm going to give up... he should think again." she said beneath her breathe.
"What are you mumbling about?" that hot, deep voice that makes her skin creep spoke and she look up to see Darian and she swallow. once again, she was lost in thoughts what is his type never in her life was she so hell bend in making someone hers but then again there's a first time for everything.
"What are you so lost in thoughts about since today?" he said because just as he enters the class his eyes landed on Lorine and found her so lost in her thoughts and the way her lips puff up, and her eyes moves up and down makes him wonder how can a woman be so damn sexy and cute at the same time?
"Oh nothing, and clearly none of your business since you friend zone me." she said and saw his eyes lock with hers, she could tell he was desperately looking for the perfect word to say at that given moment, and she found it so damn cute as she chuckled and spoke. " Relax, I've made peace with it, besides you don't interest me that big." she lied and she didn't know how deep those words she stated cut Darian's heart as he try so hard to mask his disappointment and sat next to her as the class began.
As class begun Darian couldn't help but sneak secret glances at Lorine and the whole time, she was so damn active on her phone, and he frowned and wonder who she was texting.
" Okay class that will be all for today."
"Wow... I didn't even notice, that was quick." Lorine said finally taking her eyes off her phone.
"How would you have noticed, when your entire attention was on that." he said pointing at the phone.
"My bad." she said acting as if it was not a big deal and Darian frowned his face.
"Amm... care to grab some lunch?" Darian asked with high hopes she would accept but she rejected immediately.
"I'm sorry but a friend has already invited me out, maybe next time." she said and he immediately asked. "Who?...amm sorry that's none of my business anyway, have fun."
"Okay thanks." she said as she turned and left him standing the watching as her back faded away.
