The room is quiet again.
But this time—
it's not confusion.
It's… understanding creeping in.
Summer exhales, shaking her head.
"I still don't know who the hell created that Game," she says.
"Or why it chose us."
Ryan scoffs lightly.
"Yeah, because that thing knew way too much."
Jake frowns. "It had to be someone. There's no way it just—exists."
Aurora doesn't answer immediately.
She just watches them.
Zyren notices.
"…say it," he says.
Aurora tilts her head slightly.
"What if it wasn't created for you," she says quietly.
Silence.
Kyra frowns. "…then why us?"
Thorian speaks.
Soft.
"Because we made it easy."
They all look at him.
He continues:
"Every secret. Every lie. Every thing we avoided…"
A pause.
"It had something to use."
Lyrelle's voice is quieter now.
"It didn't build anything new," she says.
Zyren nods.
"It just… organized it."
Ryan lets out a short breath.
"So what—you're saying we basically handed it everything?"
No one answers immediately.
Because deep down—
they know.
Kaida's voice shakes slightly.
"It always knew exactly where to hit," she says.
A pause.
"Like it understood us better than we understood ourselves."
Aurora finally says it.
Clear.
"Because it was built from you."
Silence.
Heavy.
Jake shakes his head. "No… that doesn't make sense."
Zyren looks at him.
"It does," he says.
"It didn't choose us."
A pause.
"We became the perfect place for it to exist."
Jason speaks quietly.
"We fed it."
That lands the hardest.
Lyrelle swallows.
"All the things we hid…" she says.
Kyra finishes:
"…it turned them into something real."
Thorian exhales softly.
"So whether someone started it…"
A pause.
"…or not…"
Aurora completes it:
"We were the masterminds."
Silence.
No one denies it.
Because now—
it finally makes sense.
Summer lets out a quiet breath.
"So all of this…" she says,
"…was just us destroying ourselves in a smarter way."
Zyren nods once.
"Yeah."
Lyrelle looks down.
"It was never about the Game."
She looks up at them.
"It was about us."
