"And I never would have returned to this city had it not been for my cousin's wedding, but I never expected to see you again. I had people look everywhere, but I couldn't find you until I saw you at the wedding."
Natalia could see the boundless sincerity in his dark eyes.
"When you couldn't remember me, I was deeply hurt, but I felt like I deserved it. I regretted not coming to you immediately until you left, and I didn't want you to hate me if you remembered everything, so I decided to build new memories with you. I wanted to fulfill the promise I made to you even though you don't remember it."
Her eyes clouded with glistening tears once again, but she let out a sigh.
"So what do you expect from me now?" she asked calmly.
"Please, allow me to make it up to you," he pleaded softly.
She looked up at him but didn't say anything.
"Please?"
Natalia moved backwards from him. Turning around, she wiped the tears in her eyes before uttering coldly, "I'll need to think about it."
