The lights seemed to appear really far away, then they appeared quite close. Natalia felt her vision blur unsteadily as she danced along with her friends. Lilian kept encouraging her with a smile, but she could feel cold sweat beginning to pool at her brows.
Lilian began to dance with a guy who she said something to. Natalia didn't think much of it as the guy Lilian was dancing to spoke to his friend while pointing in her direction. The friend looked at Natalia, then nodded in understanding before he began to approach her.
