Chapter 9 - Fall

SABEL.

"A girlfriend? Mavis does not have a girlfriend unless he has a secret one." Jessie said, responding to my question. His response caused everyone on the table to laugh.

"Does he sleep out?" I asked Jessie again, hoping that he would finish answering my queries before Mavis showed up for breakfast.

"Sometimes yeah, he sleeps out. I guess it's mostly when he has a party to attend or when he's depressed, he stays away to cool off."

Mavis stood by the entrance and hawked, "Someone wants to know more about me, sounds interesting." Speak of the devil, and the devil arrives. He joined us and sat opposite me. "So, have you any more questions? " he asked, gesturing for Jessie to pass the tea mug.

"I still do, I couldn't find some of the answers on Google." I teased and he smiled.

"They must have been very sensitive questions then," I looked up and caught his lovely eyes staring at me.

"Does anyone need anything else?" Jane, the cook asked as soon as she walked in. We both turned in her direction.

"Give Isabel, two more slices of the bread, I can see that she has only a piece left on her plate."

"Right away," Jane rushed out at once. I couldn't speak up, not with a domineering Mavis on the table. I sat there feeling giddy and ruminating over what transpired between us last night.

I couldn't believe it. I felt I just got my senses back and I needed to put a stop to this. I knew it would take a hard process but, I was resolved. I cared about Mom's happiness and didn't want us to come between her and her husband.

"Have you told them about our parents' trip to Scotland?"

"She already did, but you can proceed if you have additional information," Jessie said with a smirk.

"They will be away for a whole month," Mavis said expecting that the children would worry but they seemed overjoyed. Donald and Roland finished their meal and vacated the table.

Soon, Jessie was done. He got up, walked away, and returned with a bird in a cage. "I'll be going to the park with my bird,"

Mavis looked at him, he wasn't in support of him but when he turned to me, he felt he needed a private time with me. So I thought. "Don't take too long,"

"Of course,"

"Be sure to go there with an adult to watch over you,"

"Big bro, I'm fifteen. Do I have to sing it every day?"

"Be sure to go there with an adult," He repeated himself and turned to his meal. Jessie looked at me, hoping that I say something to Mavis that might change his mind.

"Jessie is not a child any longer, you should let him."

"Let him? When he was younger, he got kidnapped. I know how much Dad spent to save his ass. You can ask him."

Jessie's countenance dropped, "Let him, Mavis. We can track him from home."

He gulped down his tea, dropped the cup, and nodded at Jessie. "But, don't take too long." The boy smiled and walked away.

"Why don't I show you around Los Angeles?" he said, giving all his attention to me now.

"I knew a few places here before I moved to Spain even though I lived in the dormitory,"

"Allow me to drive you around to exciting places, will you?" I nodded at him and he reached for my hands. "How do you feel now compared to how you were before returning to Los Angeles,"

"Dirty, I feel like I need purging." He laughed, a little. "You are at the right place. You mind if I lick you clean?" He stuck out his tongue in the air and acted as though he had an imaginary ice cream before him and I become horny only by watching him do that.

I knew how good his tongue was and the things it made me experience. Those were my favorite experiences and I would always cherish them.

"Mav?"

"Yeah?"

"I'd like us to put a stop to this. At least, we have got a taste of each other, that should be enough."

"Alright, if you say so." He got to his feet. "But make yourself ready to tour around Los Angeles with me." He came over planted a kiss on my forehead. He took a handful of my left breast and gave it a soft massage before walking away.

I felt like pulling him into my room but this has to stop, and I needed to put effort to stop it.

I watched as he bowed a little upon getting to the door so that he would hit the frame

I breathed out. There was no way I would be getting out of this especially now that Mom and Dad were gone. I got up and left for my room to get myself prepared for the outing.

"We want to come too," I heard the boys talking with Mavis in the hallway.

"You two will get a chance next time, today's for Isabel."

My door opened and he walked in.

"You should have knocked."

"I thought so at first but then, I realized it's nothing I haven't seen before." he said that but still appeared innocent. "That's how you will one day walk in and meet Mom, you will have a lot to explain. As a man, you must knock on a lady's door notwithstanding any circumstances."

Ignoring my speech, he quickly said. "I'm right here and will help with your zipper if you ask me to," He made a little closer to me.

"What are you doing? Don't you know that the maids are around?"

"Maids?" He chuckled. "I didn't care about our parents and you expect me to care about mere maids?" He walked toward the door, "Let me get the car keys from Nathan, I'd prefer to be behind the steering while driving you around." He winked and smiled at me.

I wore my stilettos, picked up my purse, and as I made my way toward the mirror, I stumbled and landed with a loud thud. I shouted and immediately curled up on the floor.

"Are you alright?" Mavis asked, the soles of his shoe pounding the marble floor as he ran down the hallway.
