Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Sadly, the day was over. I reached home, and it's 1 a.m. now. I couldn't even find a taxi. Thankfully, my bestie dropped me. She drives so effortlessly. And why wouldn't she? I taught her. Hehe.

I entered my room and turned on the table lamp. It has a yellow light, and it's pretty. I took out my diary from the second shelf and grabbed my black pen from the white pen stand she gifted me.

Here comes my journal.

22nd November 2025

The day was pleasant today. We went to a park, then she kidnapped me and took me to a lovely, bright café. We ate pizza, pasta, and sandwiches and drank iced coffee.

Wow, my handwriting is so nice.

Lesson learned today — never question a girl's appetite, especially when you're the one who kept her starving.

I didn't know she was hungry. I should have.

Good night, diary.

"Ughhh. What is it now?"

Oh, it's my alarm. It's only 8 a.m.

"Who's calling? God, this blanket."

I threw my blanket aside and grabbed my phone from under the pillow. Oh, it's her.

"Hello, what happened?"

"I'm hungry," she cried. "I don't have anything in my refrigerator, and I'm not in the mood to go to the store or have breakfast outside."

"That's okay, but why are you up so early? You dropped me at 1, reached home by around 1:30 or 1:45, and you must have slept after 2:30 a.m."

"Five hours of sleep is enough for me," she laughed.

"No, it's not," I said, trying to stay serious.

"Okay, I'm coming in an hour. Please make breakfast for me," she requested.

Woah. She requested.

"Okay, ma'am, I am at your service."

"Byee."

"Byee."

Wake up, Mr., you have to make breakfast.

Where are my slippers? Oh—there, under the stool.

I entered my kitchen and checked what all I had.

Sandwiches — no, we had them yesterday.

Fried rice — who eats rice for breakfast? But she likes rice. I'll just make it. If she likes it, good; otherwise, I'll eat it.

Wow, I have cottage cheese too.

I started by cooking fried rice. After making it, I stored it in a lunch box.

What can I make from cottage cheese? Chilli cottage cheese. Yes.

Here is my pan and oil in.

It's hot now, let's add garlic, green chilli, and ginger.

It's done; now I'll add onion and capsicum. I also have a carrot, but… she doesn't like it, so I'll leave it.

Oh, my veggies are done. Let's add salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, soy sauce, vinegar, and green chilli sauce.

Green chilli sauce.

Where is it?

I checked the upper shelf—what all I have… even I don't know. Not here.

Second shelf.

Oh, I found it. Here is my green—

…colour? What?

Not this.

This open packet—no.

What's that in the green bottle?

Oh, there it is.

Wait—NO, my veggies!

I rushed to the pan. Thank God they're alright.

So, my green chilli sauce goes in.

For gravy… are we supposed to add simple water or hot water? I'll add simple water; it will become hot by itself.

Now my cornflour slurry goes in.

It's thickening, so I should add the cottage cheese now. For garnishing—spring onion and sesame seeds.

Tada. It's ready.

I'll make a smoothie also. Hehe. Anything for my bestie.

Everything is done. Then I went to my room and—what happened to me?

It feels like I just had a fight with a dinosaur.

Let's freshen up quickly.
