Chapter 2 - Thousand Years of Death!

Ugh…"

Barbara felt her head spinning. She slowly opened her eyes, but the scene before her was blurry, as if covered by a thick fog.

She rubbed her eyes hard, trying to clear her vision.

Suddenly, a familiar "yaya" and "woo-hoo-hoo" sound entered her ears. The sound was so classic that she immediately recognized what it was—the cry of Hilichurls!

Barbara's body trembled violently, and she instantly snapped out of her daze.

She quickly sat up and looked closely, only to see four Hilichurls standing before her!

But… what were they doing?

Her gaze first fell on the kneeling Electro Lawachurl. He was holding up a strangely shaped table, on which some peculiar patterns were drawn.

Even more surprisingly, several turtles had been drawn on the Electro Lawachurl's mask, instantly making his originally majestic image look comical.

The two Hilichurl Anemo Hilichurl Rogues and Hilichurl Hydro Walker Rangers were tightly pulling on the Electro Lawachurl, seemingly trying to prevent him from smashing the strange table in his hands.

Meanwhile, the Blazing Axe Mitachurl stood by, clapping and watching the show, occasionally letting out "hehe" laughter, as if it were all just a farce, and incidentally picking up the scattered square-shaped strange stones on the ground.

Barbara's eyes widened as she stared at the scene before her in disbelief, wondering if she was dreaming.

So, she slapped her cheeks hard with both hands, trying to wake herself up.

"Am I dreaming?"

Barbara muttered to herself, "What on earth is going on?"

When Barbara opened her eyes again, the scene instantly changed.

It was… well… even stranger… four Hilichurls were sitting on a haystack, looking at books in their hands. Wait, where did these books come from?

However, the previous scene must have been an illusion.

This thought came to Barbara as she saw the Electro Lawachurl's mask disappear.

The turtles on the mask had not been wiped off, and the large book in his hand was held upside down.

Wait, why was the book so big? How did he get it out?

Matt, who was secretly watching Barbara out of the corner of his eye, saw her staring at his mask and, feeling a bit puzzled, patted Zane beside him.

"Hey, Zane, why is Barbara staring at me?"

Zane turned to look at Matt and immediately saw the turtle pattern on Matt's mask, almost bursting into laughter.

He took out a spray from behind him, sprayed it on Matt's face, then put the spray away and took out a towel to wipe off the pattern on Matt's mask.

"Now, we have a problem."

Elliot slowly closed the book in his hand and then turned his gaze to Barbara, who was curled up in the corner.

Her body was trembling slightly, as if filled with fear and unease about the current situation.

Elliot took a deep breath and continued, "We are now facing a serious predicament: a language barrier. Due to the limitations of the Hilichurl body, we cannot speak at all."

Just then, Matt suddenly raised his hand and interjected, "Um… can't we communicate by writing?"

However, Jesse shook his head, explaining helplessly, "That probably won't work. Teyvat doesn't use english characters; they have their own unique writing system, and we are completely unfamiliar with it."

Hearing this, Zane couldn't help but sigh, "Tsk… this is really troublesome."

He complained, covering his face with the book in frustration, as if trying to escape this tricky problem.

"Roar roar roar!"

"What the hell! What was that sound!"

The sudden roar startled everyone.

"That sound! It's Stormterror!"

Barbara immediately cried out in panic.

"Stormterror?"

The four exchanged glances.

The next moment, a Wind Bullet smashed into the house.

Looking at the Wind Bullet that landed in the center of the house, everyone fell silent.

"Boom!!"

The house was immediately pulverized by the Wind Bullet, kicking up a large amount of dust.

"Cough cough cough cough!"

Barbara coughed a few times, choked by the dust. She opened her eyes to see that the remains of the wooden house had coincidentally formed a triangle, shielding her underneath.

Looking up, she saw four Hilichurls turned to charcoal.

Before she could react, the four quickly shook off the black char from their bodies.

Jesse glared at Stormterror in the sky.

"Damn it! Kill that stinking lizard for me!"

The scene shifted, and a giant Electro-attribute cannon was aimed at Stormterror in the sky.

"Where did this cannon come from!"

Barbara stared in shock at the suddenly appearing cannon. She was certain she hadn't seen this cannon before; she had just blinked, and it had suddenly materialized!

Ignoring Barbara, who was still questioning reality, Zane dug a large Slime out of the ground and shoved it into the cannon barrel.

Matt took a stick and poked the Slime to the bottom of the cannon barrel.

Elliot rotated the cannon, keeping the muzzle tightly aimed at Stormterror.

Jesse stood behind the control panel. Seeing that everyone was ready, he shouted, "Fire!!!"

With that, he slapped the button.

The cannon instantly launched the Electro Slime from its barrel.

The Electro Slime rapidly approached Stormterror, its entire body's Electro element power activated, transforming into a fist.

Then, the fist silently extended its index and middle fingers, flying straight towards Stormterror!

's backside!

This! Is the Millennial Esotericism!

Thousand Years of Death!

"Bang!"

"Oh, ah ah ah ah!!!"

Stormterror's scream instantly echoed for hundreds of miles around.

A certain idling Bard felt a chill down his spine and instinctively clenched his backside.

Stormterror's body instantly froze in mid-air, then plummeted headfirst towards the ground like an arrow.

"Thud!"

"Dvalin!"

The idling Bard immediately went to check on Stormterror.

When he arrived at the destination, he saw Dvalin, whose head and neck were completely buried in the dirt, his lower half inverted, still twitching uncontrollably.

He wondered if it was his imagination, but he felt Dvalin's curse had improved significantly.

It was just… a bit unsettling… "Done and dusted."

Jesse clapped his hands, then looked at the dumbfounded Barbara.

Barbara rubbed her eyes, looking at the vanished cannon. She was beyond words.

She finally understood: these four Hilichurls were insane!

Jesse looked at Barbara before him and stroked his chin.

They needed to find something to distract her. They didn't want to harm the characters they adored; after all, they couldn't die.

But they had to move, and absolutely not in front of Barbara, otherwise Barbara would definitely tell Grand Master Jean.

They needed to think of a way.

A few minutes later, Barbara, clutching a book, ran off with a flushed face.

Elliot asked Jesse in confusion, "Hey? What did you give Barbara? Why did she run off without saying anything?"

Jesse: "I'm not sure either. I just thought of something to distract her, so I randomly grabbed something and gave it to her. I don't know the rest; I didn't even look at what it was?"

Elliot: "Is there any left?"

Jesse: "Yes, I took two, and there's one more."

Everyone looked at the book Jesse took out, then instantly fell silent.

No wonder, so it was this thing.

Several english characters were clearly written on the book.
