"Very well, Hawk Moth. Since it was an accident, it is only right to help a friend, isn't it?"
Alix's voice was no longer clear and cheerful as before, but carried a layer of cold, metallic texture, sounding like an echo from the abyss.
Black energy rapidly spread, expanded, and reshaped around Her, like ink dripping into clear water.
Her originally orange-red short hair was lengthened and pulled up, gathered beneath a streamlined helmet that flashed with fluorescent green lines.
The black and green tight combat suit perfectly outlined Her agile figure, light armor covered Her joints, and the roller skates on Her feet, both the shoes and the wheels, emitted the same ominous glow as the helmet; a transparent energy slot was clearly visible on the outside of the shoe upper, currently completely empty.
Timebreaker was born.
She slowly opened Her eyes, Her retina seemingly still retaining the image of Hawk Moth's hideous butterfly mask.
She gave a cold response to the tempting promise in Her mind, and immediately, she ignored the blue-haired girl nearby
Marinette
who was facing away from Her and anxiously talking on the phone. Her body sank slightly, Her legs pushed off, and she transformed into a black and green afterimage, swiftly skating toward Trocadéro Square, where the commotion had not yet completely dispersed.
"Mom, listen to me, I really didn't mean to, I'm coming home right now to deal with it..."
Marinette was frantically explaining to Her mother on the phone when the corner of Her eye caught a glimpse of a familiar yet strange figure flashing past Her. Subconsciously, she turned Her head, and Her pupils suddenly constricted.
That figure... it was Alix, yet completely unlike Her. That ominous outfit, that speed... Marinette immediately realized what had happened
Alix had undergone a Akumatization.
"Mom, I... I suddenly have an emergency here, a very, very urgent one, I'll call you back later!"
She didn't even wait to hear Her mother's reply before hastily hanging up and chasing after the afterimage with all Her might.
In Trocadéro Square, most of the students hadn't yet recovered from the recent incident, gathering in small groups and discussing Alix's heirloom in hushed tones.
Chloé was complaining to Sabrina about Alix's overreaction when suddenly, Adrien's eyes narrowed. He saw the black and green figure approaching at an incredible speed.
"Everyone, scatter quickly!"
He yelled loudly and pushed Nino, who was closest to him, away.
The students were startled by his sudden warning, but they quickly saw the ominous figure approaching.
The crowd exploded in chaos, screams and frantic footsteps sounding everywhere.
Timebreaker's first target was Kim, who was still standing stunned, trying to figure out what was happening.
There was no trace of former friendship in Her eyes, only a craving for energy.
Before Kim could react, she had already swept past him like a gust of wind, Her gloved left hand lightly touching his arm.
Kim's body froze. The expression on his face solidified, and he became like a lifelike ice sculpture, maintaining his posture.
After a clean sudden stop, Timebreaker turned Her head and glanced at the energy slot on the outside of Her roller skate.
A faint trace of green energy had appeared at the bottom of the slot, but it was far from full.
"Tsk, not enough."
She whispered indifferently, Her voice sending shivers down the spines of everyone who heard it.
"Alix, what are you doing?"
Marinette finally caught up, breathing heavily. She looked at the scene before Her, especially the gradually disappearing Kim, Her face filled with disbelief.
Timebreaker slowly turned around, Her gaze from beneath the helmet falling upon Marinette with a condescending scrutiny.
"Now, I am called Timebreaker."
She stated in a flat, matter-of-fact tone: "My watch is broken, and I need energy to go back into the past and save it before it is destroyed.
So... every one of you must contribute for me."
"Go back into the past? What do you mean by that?"
Marinette's mind was reeling. She pointed at Kim: "What... what exactly happened to him?"
"I need his 'time' to help me return to the past."
Timebreaker explained casually, then a hint of mockery entered Her voice: "I was already annoyed by those boring bets. Especially you, Marinette, didn't you just say you 'had a way'? Well, now I've found a way. You must be willing to help me, right?"
Before she finished speaking, the roller skates on Her feet burst into light, and she once again transformed into an afterimage, charging straight toward Marinette.
The speed was so fast that it extinguished any thought of resistance.
Marinette's body instinctively lunged sideways, rolling awkwardly on the ground, narrowly avoiding the fatal touch.
Timebreaker swept past the spot where Marinette had just been standing with a rush of wind, executed a smooth skid turn, adjusted Her direction, and chased after Her again.
Marinette desperately ran up the steps. In desperation, she forcefully threw the banner, which was decorated with chibi drawings, at Timebreaker, who was chasing behind Her!
Timebreaker was caught off guard, Her vision completely obscured by the fabric descending from above.
She stumbled, lost Her balance, and fell heavily to the ground.
"Damn it!"
Angrily, she tore off the banner covering Her. The chibi drawings of Alix and Kim on it seemed incredibly ironic to Her now.
She stood up and looked toward the top of the steps, but Marinette's figure had already vanished.
"Hypocrite!"
She growled through clenched teeth: "You promised to help me, but you ran away! If that's the case..."
She looked around, searching for the classmates who had scattered and hidden, dangerous light flashing in Her eyes: "Then don't blame me for being ruthless."
Meanwhile, in a corner behind the platform, Marinette leaned against the wall, breathing heavily, still shaken.
Her Kwami Tikki flew out of Her satchel and said worriedly: "Marinette, the situation is too tricky, we have to stop Her!"
"I know!" Marinette's eyes narrowed, all hesitation gone. "Tikki, spots on!"
With a flash of red light, the agile figure of Ladybug appeared.
She took a deep breath, Her expression serious as she looked at the Akumatized Person searching for a target below. She then swung the yo-yo in Her hand, aimed at the rapidly moving Timebreaker, and threw it forcefully.
The red yo-yo whistled through the air and wrapped around one of Timebreaker's legs.
Ladybug pulled hard, and Timebreaker lost Her balance again, crashing to the ground.
"Stop this madness!"
Ladybug stated righteously from Her vantage point on the platform.
However, Timebreaker ignored Her.
Lying on the ground, she cast Her gaze toward Rose, who was nearby, hiding beneath the steps with Juleka and peeking out.
Her voice suddenly became incredibly weak and full of pleading: "Rose... help me... I feel so terrible..."
Rose's heart immediately tightened.
Although Her heart was filled with fear, seeing Her former friend in this state, Her kindness made it impossible for Her to ignore the situation.
"Alix..." She hesitated, approaching Timebreaker step by step.
"Rose, don't go! It's dangerous!" Juleka tightly grabbed Her hand.
"But..."
"Rose, don't go near Her!" Ladybug also warned loudly from above.
But Rose broke free from Juleka's grasp and extended Her hand toward Timebreaker.
Timebreaker looked at the hesitant yet warm hand reaching out to Her, and a cold, successful smirk curled beneath Her helmet.
"How... easily fooled."
She suddenly grabbed Rose's hand.
Rose's body instantly froze, Her face still showing a worried expression.
"You, who always thinks of others, must be the one who understands my feelings the most."
Timebreaker stood up, looking at Rose and Juleka, who was rushing over.
With a nonchalant wave of Her other hand, she touched Juleka's shoulder.
Just like that, the two girls slowly became transparent before Ladybug's eyes, eventually disappearing completely.
Timebreaker looked at the energy slot on Her roller skate, which had increased by another segment.
She smiled contentedly and began searching for Her next target.
"We have to destroy the Akuma Butterfly on Her!"
Ladybug above was burning with anxiety: "Damn it, where did that cat run off to?"
Without time to think, she swung Her yo-yo again, attacking Timebreaker and trying to stop Her from harming any more classmates.
Behind a large tree on the other side of the square, Adrien watched everything unfold.
Beneath his golden hair, his emerald eyes were filled with gravity.
"I can't wait any longer. Plagg, claws out!"
A flash of black light passed, and Cat Noir's figure silently appeared in the shade of the tree.
At this moment, Timebreaker had caught up to Mylène, who couldn't run fast.
Mylène stumbled in Her haste and fell directly to the ground.
Timebreaker didn't even stop; she just extended Her hand and lightly brushed Mylène's arm as she sped past.
Mylène's movements ceased.
Timebreaker skated to the side and checked the reading on Her energy slot.
"Two minutes... still not enough."
She clicked Her tongue in dissatisfaction.
Ladybug rushed to Mylène's side, only to watch helplessly as Her body became completely transparent and vanished into the air.
"You can't stop me, Ladybug!"
Timebreaker let out a mocking laugh, which echoed across the empty square, sounding particularly harsh.
Just then, a black metal staff silently reached out from behind and lightly tapped Her shoulder.
"Well hello,"
A playful and familiar voice sounded behind Her: "Are we playing 'tag' now? You seem to be the one who's 'it,' aren't you?"
Timebreaker whipped around, seeing Cat Noir's face with his signature cheeky grin.
Without a word, she pushed off with Her feet and charged fiercely toward Cat Noir.
"Cat Noir, watch out, don't let Her touch you!"
Ladybug shouted urgently.
Cat Noir naturally wouldn't let Her succeed easily. With a nimble backflip, he effortlessly dodged Timebreaker's attack, landing steadily on a nearby railing, and playfully winked at Her: "You missed~"
Timebreaker, having failed the attack, looked at the two working seamlessly together, a flash of irritation in Her eyes.
Suddenly, she glimpsed Alya nearby, who was still holding up Her phone, trying to record everything. A cold smirk curved on Her lips.
Alya's heart dropped when she saw that gaze, and she immediately wanted to run.
But how could Her speed compare to Timebreaker's? A few seconds later, the black and green figure caught up to Her, and cold fingers brushed across Her arm.
Next were the screaming Chloé and Her loyal sidekick Sabrina.
Timebreaker's energy slot was already halfway full, and she greedily wanted to absorb more 'time'.
But Ladybug and Cat Noir had already cornered Her by the fountain, one on the left and one on the right.
After several brief exchanges, Timebreaker was cleverly tripped by Cat Noir's metal staff, then flung away by Ladybug's yo-yo, crashing heavily onto the ground.
She scrambled to Her feet, realizing she was no match for the two of them.
A desperate idea formed in Her mind
since she couldn't beat them now, she would use the energy she had already collected to go back a few minutes, back to when they hadn't had time to team up!
She stopped fighting, suddenly turned, poured all the energy into Her roller skates, and began to accelerate wildly around the square.
Her speed grew faster and faster, Her figure gradually blurring, and the air around Her began to distort. A vortex composed of fragmented light and shadows slowly formed behind Her.
"She wants to go back into the past!"
Ladybug immediately understood Her intention. Without hesitation, she threw Her yo-yo, wrapping it around Timebreaker's waist. However, Timebreaker was moving too fast, and the immense pulling force instantly dragged Ladybug along with Her.
"Grab me!"
Cat Noir reached out and tightly grabbed Ladybug's hand.
Timebreaker felt the resistance behind Her. She roared in anger, releasing all the 'time' energy she had just acquired from Her classmates in that instant!
"Vwoom—!"
Blinding light swallowed everything. The three figures were instantly sucked into the time vortex and vanished.
In Hawk Moth's lair, he watched all of this.
"Excellent. Going back into the past, they will have no chance."
He quietly waited for the fruits of victory to arrive.
The three figures caught in the temporal turbulence were traveling in an incomprehensible way.
Timebreaker felt as if she was passing through layer after layer of transparent, soft, yet resilient film.
She thought she was heading toward the past, just minutes ago, but what she didn't know was that the portal she had opened did not lead to the past, but to a... completely different present.
"Over here! Kim, hurry up!"
"Go, Alix!"
In Jaden's world, the atmosphere in Trocadéro Square was at its peak. The race had entered the final, heated sprint phase.
Jaden looked at the two figures chasing each other on the track, his expression as calm as ever.
Suddenly, a crisp and urgent voice rang out in his mind. It was a psychic message from the fourth emotional monster he had placed in time and space—the "Time Rabbit."
[Warning, abnormal temporal fluctuations detected. Three high-energy signatures are entering this world.]
Jaden's gaze narrowed slightly. He subtly glanced toward the top of the steps behind him, where there was no one, then withdrew His gaze as if nothing had happened.
But his movement did not escape the eyes of Kagami beside him.
"What is it?"
Kagami's cool voice sounded in his ear: "Is something wrong?"
Her deep eyes were looking at him with an inquiring look.
Jaden turned his head and gave Her a gentle, harmless smile: "Nothing,"
Before he could finish Alya's voice interrupted their conversation,

Alya interjected, squeezing between the two of them. She enthusiastically linked arms with Kagami, seemingly casually diverting the topic: "Speaking of which, Kagami, do you think Alix can win this time? I bet on Her winning."
Alya cleverly interrupted Kagami's investigation of Jaden, both maintaining Her image of 'caring for friends,'
and subtly preventing any potential romantic spark between the two of them,
while also maintaining a safe social distance from Jaden in Her words, so as not to draw Marinette's attention.
Distracted by Alya, Kagami had no choice but to withdraw Her gaze and did not press further.
