Iwana quickly activate all of his set card. "I chain my three-trap card to your Heavy Storm! First, Gunkan Suship Daily Special. Second Waboku.
Waboku effect; I take no battle damage this turn. Gunkan Suship Daily Special effect; I can reveal 3 "Gunkan" monsters from my Deck, my opponent chooses 1 of them for me to add to my hand, also shuffle the rest into my Deck. But-" Iwana take out 3 cards from his deck and also show one card on his hand 'Gunkan Suship Shari'

Ryuji found this on a website that sell old card, it's extremely cheap even more than some vanilla monster. A fusion monster plus an effect only activates when send to the graveyard make it unsuitable in any deck of this era.
Originally, Ryuji didn't plan to add this card to his deck but then found it useful to get rid of his Evolzar with no material to recycle later, and it's a level 6 monster make it useable in his rank 4 and 6 focus deck.
"Next card, Monster Reborn. I return Dinovatus Docus to my field and overlay it along with Garura, Wings of Resonant Life. Xyz summon Dragonlark Pairen! Set 2 cards and end my turn."

Iwana draw 1 card; after looking at it he directly put it in his spell/trap zone. "I activate Dark Hole; destroy every monster on the field, but only your field have monster, so you are the only one who take this effect." Iwana say with a smirk 'Hmph! That's the price for destroy my monsters without leave a single one.'
'Tch! Truly Yu-Gi-Oh world, even an unnamed side character has Heart of The Card.' Ryuji watch as the black hole sweep though his field, before it can fully cover all of his monster, Ryuji raise his hand. "I chain my set card to your spell, activate Xyz Reborn!"
Everyone looking at Ryuji as if he is crazy. Revive a monster? No problem! But why chain it to Dark Hole? The monster gonna get blew up. Before they can think too much, the black hole explores create a huge shockwave clear everything in its path. Iwana and onlookers cover their face from the strong shockwave.
Iwana quickly look ahead, then his eyes widen in disbelief. On Ryuji field they're still 2 monsters remain. One is Dragonlark Pairen and the other make him grit his teeth 'Evolzar Solda'.
Seeing Iwana frustrating face, Ryuji let out a satisfied laugh before explaining. "Xyz Reborn let me Special Summon one xyz monster from my graveyard and attach this card to it as material. The target I choose is Evolzar Solda, Solda effect; This card cannot be destroyed by card effects while it has material.
Finally, Dragonlark Pairen effect; This card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect while a monster, other than "Dragonlark Pairen", is face-up on the field that was Special Summoned from the GY."
Dextra and others outside the field finally understand why Ryuji choose to chain Xyz Reborn to Dark Hole. "Amazing! He can calculate this far ahead! No, perhaps he already plans its since he chooses to fusion his Evolzar away into that useless monster."
Iwana snort coldly when he looks at Solda, clearly, he's very annoyed. "You think you can destroy my suship once again? Dream on! I activate this card from my hand, Effect Veiler! During your Main Phase (Quick Effect): I can send this card from my hand to the GY, then target 1 Effect Monster you control; negate the effects of that face-up monster you control, until the end of this turn."
'Ah! How unexpected, never think that I can see Miku-chan in real life.' Ryuji look at the twin blue hair girl appear on Iwana field. She create a energy bubble and throw it at Solda trap him completely inside.
"Now you can't use that monster to destroy my monsters. Now I activate Gunkan Suship Shari Red effect, I revealed Gunkan Suship Shari in my hand to special summon it. Then I activate Gunkan Suship Shari Red other effect to summon Gunkan Suship Shirauo, once again I overlay both monster to xyz summon Gunkan Suship Shirauo-class Carrier!"

Iwana draw a card and start wonder which card should he choose to add to his hand. Catch-of-the-Day if he wants to go all out offense and do full combo or Sushipyard if he wants to go defense because Shirauo-class Carrier can protect his other xyz Suship monster from destroy by effect.

Ryuji silently look at his set card. 'Since he didn't choose to add Sushipyard then the card I choose to declare doesn't matter.' "I declare 'Gunkan Suship Shirauo'."
Iwana frow a little, this is the card he needs the least in this situation. "I activate Magical Mallet; Add this card and any number of cards from my hand to the Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards I added to the Deck. I send this card and another card to my deck, draw 2!"
'Wow... Another absolutely broken card from anime. Luckily, they changed it effect, shuffle any number of cards without paying any cost is crazy. Where could I buy this card?' Ryuji look as Iwana draw two new cards from his deck.
"Then, I activate Card Advance; I can look at up to 5 cards from the top of my Deck, then place them on the top of the Deck in any order." Iwana look at top 5 card of his deck, then a smirk appears on the corner of his mouth. He changes the card order and puts it back. 'After all this year, my connection with my deck hasn't weaker.'
"Activate effect of Gunkan Suship Uni in my hand; I can reveal 1 other "Gunkan" card in my hand; Special Summon this card from my hand, then apply the following effect based on the revealed card.

As the tsunami settle down, on Ryuji side there is only Dragonlark Pairen left.
Ryuji: "Too bad Solda effect got negate so he gets destroy along with your monster. But at least you are able to keep one, doesn't it?" Ryuji say as he looks at an unexpected ship survive after the tsunami.
