Chapter 4 - The Demon King Daughter

Seeing the succubus girl sobbing uncontrollably in front of him, Drake froze, standing perfectly still. Suddenly, the girl turned and sat bolt upright when she saw Drake near the door. The girl immediately stood up, staring intently at Drake even as her tears kept streaming. Seeing the girl look at him with an uncertain expression, Drake—who was clearly anti-social—raised his palm and forced a smile, making it look incredibly awkward.

"Hey," Drake said.

Seeing Drake standing calmly by the door and greeting her with a weird face, "Bwoooosh," the girl suddenly looked incredibly angry. Her tears flowed, and her entire body was immediately engulfed in a crimson fire aura that looked searingly hot, like hellfire. Huge wings sprouted from her back, and in an instant, she was right in front of Drake, attacking with her claws.

"Whoaah,"

Drake dodged sideways, and the girl's claws smashed into the door behind him. Drake immediately darted behind the girl, who turned around with a furious expression.

"H-hey, wait up," Drake said, raising his hands.

"You killed my Papa!" the girl screamed.

"No, I fought him. I didn't kill him," Drake replied. "Technically, that's true, right?" Drake muttered in his head.

"Liar! Die!" the girl shrieked, instantly dashing forward.

She immediately attacked Drake in a frenzy of punches, claws, and kicks. Meanwhile, Drake cleanly avoided her entire blind rage attack, which was contaminated with the hot fire aura, without being hit even once, thanks to the martial arts his dad taught him.

"W-wait, can we talk about this first?" Drake asked while dodging.

"Shut up!" screamed the girl, continuing her savage assault.

"Thud," Drake, who had been constantly retreating and dodging, finally backed up against the wall. His eyes widened, seeing claws right in front of his face. He quickly rolled sideways, and "Craaash," the girl's claws pulverized the wall in front of him. The girl pulled out her claws and turned to see Drake still crouched on one knee.

"Wait, stop attacking. We need to talk," Drake said.

"No need to talk, you killed Papa!" the girl shrieked, charging forward again.

The girl crossed her arms in front of her face and immediately opened them again. Her red eyes shone, emitting a heart-stealing light called 'Charm.' Naturally, Drake wasn't affected by it. Seeing Drake unaffected, the girl became a little confused, but she grew more certain that Drake must be as strong as her father, who was also immune. She immediately attacked Drake again without stopping, while Drake kept dodging and retreating, circling the large room.

"Ugh... this can't go on," Drake thought to himself.

Finally, Drake stood still, and as the girl attacked with her claws, Drake instantly caught her clawed wrist like a flash of lightning. He then pulled the girl's body and spun her using his arm until the girl was flung away and landed flat on her back on the ground.

"Aggh," the girl screamed as her back hit the floor hard.

Drake immediately crouched down and grabbed both of the girl's hands, locking her down by pinning her to the ground until the girl couldn't move.

"H-hey... let me go... let me go," the girl said, struggling and thrashing.

"Fine, but promise me first, don't attack me again. Like I said before, I did fight your Papa, but I'm not his killer," Drake explained while restraining the girl with his lock move.

"Let me go!" the girl snapped back.

"No. Promise first, then I'll let you go," Drake replied.

The girl kept struggling until she was breathless, and one of her hands broke free. She tried to attack again, but Drake recaptured it and locked her down once more, though not hard enough to break her arm.

"Ow... fine... fine, let me go," the girl yelled in pain.

"Good, I'll release you," Drake replied.

Drake released the girl and immediately rolled up, standing back and moving away. The girl immediately sat up, then held her arm. She turned to look at Drake with a face that showed both pain and anger. Her tears were still flowing.

"Who are you?" the girl asked.

"My name is Drake Tharthell. I'm an Ancient Primordial," Drake answered succinctly.

"Did you really not kill Papa?" the girl asked.

"It's true, I swear it. I did fight him, but I'm not the one who killed him," Drake replied. "I was also killed by his three assassins," Drake muttered in his head.

The girl fell silent, staring at Drake's face, which seemed genuinely intent on convincing her that he hadn't killed her father. The girl stood up. She turned once more to look at her father's corpse.

"Who killed him?" the girl asked.

"Humans," Drake replied briefly. "Technically, I'm not lying," Drake muttered in his head.

"Then why are you here?" the girl asked.

"I was killed too. The King helped me and healed me," Drake answered. "He's also the one who changed me into this," Drake muttered in his head.

"I see. Well, my name is Liliana. I am the Demon King's daughter," Liliana replied.

"Oh... okay, nice to meet you, Liliana," Drake stammered back.

They both fell silent, creating a quiet but awkward atmosphere. Then Drake turned and started walking toward the exit door once more.

"Hey, where are you going?" Liliana called out.

"Out. To find the humans who killed me," Drake answered briefly without turning around, continuing to walk.

"I see. I'm coming too," Liliana replied.

"Huh?" Drake turned in surprise, seeing Liliana—who was wiping her tears away—walking toward him. Her wings had already disappeared again. When Liliana reached Drake's side, "Gyuut," she unhesitatingly linked her arm through Drake's and pulled him along, though her face continued to look straight ahead and still looked angry. Drake could feel the warmth of Liliana's body and the softness of her large chest pressing against his arm, which she had pinned.

"Oh my God... this is the first time I've been this close to a girl... she's... soft and cushiony... aaah... what am I thinking," Drake muttered in his head, his face beginning to flush.

Because he was anti-social in his previous life, this was the first time he had felt the sensation of being close to a girl, and of course, he became nervous, though he didn't dare say anything. Liliana kept pulling him, and eventually, they walked through the door and proceeded down the hallway. Drake could see many winged demon soldiers lying in the corridor—the result of the actions of himself and his group when he was still human. Drake kept glancing at Liliana, who was shorter than him and kept hugging his arm without saying a word.

Drake tried to distract himself by looking around, but the sensation kept making him glance at the two large, twin mounds pressing against and pinning his arm.

"Geez... why won't she let go of me? If my lower half gets excited, it could be bad, right? I heard succubi like to suck the male aura from there. Please control yourself, Drake... Noah... or whoever I am," Drake muttered in his head in a panic.
