Chapter 26 - Pseudo Entity- chapter:26-The state

Karry walked toward the five figures standing in the distance.

One of them looked at him and said,

"Are you the new rookie?"

"Yes, I am. My name is Karry," he replied.

Suddenly, the man rushed forward and pressed the tip of his sword against Karry's head.

"If you disturb us or interfere in our fight, I will kill you. Your job is only to make sure the powerless do not learn about our existence. By the way, who sent you here? We asked for only one person. Tell me."

Another man stepped forward.

"Don't scare him. This is his first official job for the government. But yes — tell us who sent you."

The first man slowly removed his sword from Karry's neck.

"It was Arnold," Karry answered.

The atmosphere changed instantly. The tension disappeared. Their expressions softened.

The first man sighed.

"I'm sorry. It's just a habit. Please don't tell Arnold about this. By the way, I'm Kamal. The five of us are government hunters. This is Kafi, this is Fan, this is Faraz, and this is Farsh."

Karry was shocked by the sudden change in their attitude.

"So, Karry," Kamal said calmly, "let's enter State 6."

"What do you mean by State 6?" Karry asked.

"You'll understand once we enter. Farsh, explain."

Farsh cleared his throat.

"Sorry for disturbing you earlier."

"It's okay… as long as you don't repeat it," Karry replied.

The others looked slightly annoyed, but they controlled their anger.

"Follow me," Kamal said.

They walked until they reached what seemed like an empty area.

"Let's find another place," Karry suggested.

"No," Kamal replied. "This is the place."

He tapped the ground in a rhythmic, melodic pattern.

Suddenly, the floor split open, revealing a staircase descending into darkness.

"How did you know about this?" Karry asked.

"I came here once before," Kamal said. "Don't mind the others. They don't talk much. They're allergic to conversation. Farsh is the friendly one. Come."

They followed him down the staircase.

At the bottom, they entered a massive underground city glowing with colorful lights. It was as large as a state. There were countless buildings stretching into the distance. Some people were dressed elegantly, others carried weapons. Certain areas were heavily guarded.

The entire place had a deep red atmosphere — like blood — yet it was strangely beautiful and luxurious.

Karry looked up.

Above them was a massive horizontal board, as large as a building.

Written on it were the words:

"Blood Clan."
