Zombies with elongated limbs—Climbers—emerged from the rooftops, crawling like spiders along the walls.
"RUN!" Geo shouted.
They ran through narrow alleys as the Climbers chased above them, dropping like assassins from the sky.
One landed on Eko's back—its claws digging into the scratch on his arm.
He screamed.
Lolly turned back immediately. "EKO!"
Geo grabbed her wrist. "Don't! You'll die!"
She ripped her arm free. "I'm not losing him!"
She shot the Climber off Eko, pulled him up, and held him with shaking arms.
Eko felt her breath on his cheek.
She was terrified for him.
And Geo saw it.
His heart clenched painfully.
This triangle was now a blade.
