Chapter 2 - chapter 1 of introduction

CHAPTER 1: The wish of San Nicolas

Narrator:

The story begins in the year 1950 when a certain old man begins to wonder if he should retire from his job, this man is not just any old man, the job he has is a legendary job, a mythological job, however, if someone had to describe him they would say: "A 2.5M tall fat old man with an approximate weight of 360 Lbs. as well as a white beard, white hair, an old well preserved red suit, black boots, black buckle belt, and a red and white hat", this man not only had this unique job, but in fact was none other than the original man himself, the legendary man himself,

San Nicolas:

"Who should I choose to become my replacement? It has been 85 thousand years since God told me that one day my replacement I would be born, and my job would last until that moment in which my replacement would be old enough to take my place and carry on with my legacy, however, it's been so long that I am beginning to think I misunderstood God's words and maybe I was supposed to choose my replacement when I felt the time has arrived."

Narrator:

Santa Claus began to think he was supposed to choose his replacement; however, he didn't realize his replacement would soon arrive. Everything on earth from the Universe in which San Nicolás was born in, was beginning to fall into place in order to prepare for the birth of the new Santa Claus. San Nicolas had begun to consider both his surviving human children as candidates to become his replacement. One of them as San Nicolas began thinking more deeply about the subject, had become a businessman and had lost the spark several centuries earlier to become a possible candidate for his replacement, also this surviving son, no longer had any magic left inside of him, the only surviving trait his oldest surviving son had was the fact that he was still capable to live far more than the average human. San Nicolas' second surviving son still had some magic left inside of him besides the other trait of his oldest surviving son, his second son had lost all creativity left inside of him, and the spark that existed in any Santa Claus and his descendants, neither one of his sons were capable of returning to the exact location of the north pole in which they used to live in, nowadays they needed the help of an elf to return to the north pole, these were merely a few of the problems that San Nicolas was currently facing. The worst problem that he was facing at the moment wasn't finding his replacement, it was taking care of his dying daughter, who is half-human and half-elf. He had taken his daughter to every doctor across the multiverse to help his daughter, but she already was sentenced to death and had approximately 2 years left to live. San Nicolas' Daughter was the youngest of his surviving children, and the one with the highest amount of magic left inside of her, however, she only had a powerful talent of repairing anything that was broken, she never had any creativity inside of her. San Nicolas' grandchildren from the moment they turned into teenagers each one, one by one began to lose the spark, despite that few of them were born with magic and creativity, each one of his grandchildren who was born with all 3 traits that made them candidates of becoming a possible future replacement of Santa Claus, began to lose the 2 main traits as they grew older.

San Nicolas:

"Currently all my descendants from all my previous children are dead, and my 3 remaining children never had any children of their own. Who should I choose to become the next Santa Claus? to take over this legacy?"

Narrator:

As San Nicolas was thinking deeply about what he should be doing in regards to his future replacement, his head elf Antonio Magnus (a 1.5 meters tall chubby yet muscular elf with a short 10-centimeter beard long black hair 98 centimeters long capable of carrying an elephant with just 3 fingers) arrived to inform him that his daughter had a heart attack and that she had entered a coma. Father Time: Magnificus Tempo (A 2 meters tall old man with a 175 cm long beard wielding a wooden staff), arrived a few seconds later, with a sad and dreadful look on his face. Saint Nicolas began to get worried as he saw the look on his dear old friend Magnificus Tempo.

San Nicolas: "Hi, how are you my old friend? It's been a very long time since we saw each other, hasn't it?

Magnificus Tempo (Father Time):

"Indeed, it has, yes, it has been quite a few centuries since my last visit."

San Nicolas:

"So, what brings you here today? Usually, you're here only to give me some kind of news, you're never here on a casual visit. Judging by that look on your face, I'm afraid you have some bad news to give me, am I correct Magnificus?"

 Magnificus Tempo (Father Time):

"You're only partially correct, my dear old friend. First, allow me to give you the bad news, since I just arrived in the right moment: The bad news is that your daughter doesn't have much time, and by this I am referring to that fact that your daughter only has 72 hours left to be exact. The other bad news that I must give you is the fact that your eldest surviving son only has 5 years 2 months 3 days 10 hours 30 minutes with 25 seconds left to live. The good news is that your successor will soon arrive. Please my friend, try to hold on a few more years. I know that the next few decades ahead will be your most difficult years in this job, especially since god turned you into a saint all those millennials ago, however, the only thing I am allowed to reveal to you is that once you pass on the torch of this legacy, you will lose all of your semi-immortality and your son will lose it as well, both of you will be living the rest of your lives as mortals."
