As dawn's light touched Mira's window, the magical library began to fade—but not completely.
Before it vanished, the cat turned back to her one last time.
"There will always be a doorway," it said. "In a quiet moment… in the pages of a book… in the space between your thoughts. You only have to believe it's there."
With a blink, Mira was back in her room.
The book now rested closed, its cover embossed with silver letters:
"Storywalker: Volume One."
She traced the letters gently. The story had changed her—but outside her window, the world still looked the same.
Or so she thought.
At school, the hallways felt warmer. Her steps felt lighter. Her voice didn't shake when she answered a question in class. When she saw someone sitting alone, she smiled and sat beside them.
And at night, the book pulsed softly—inviting her back when she was ready.
Each time she returned, the library greeted her with new adventures, new people, and new doors.
Because the real magic wasn't just in the library.
It was inside her.
And she would never forget it.
