When Taehyun returned to his room, Beomgyu kept thinking about the night before.
He had fallen asleep easily — something unusual for him. Beomgyu rarely slept before midnight, yet holding Taehyun had lulled him instantly.
Strange.
He pushed the thought away.
After breakfast, they headed out for shopping.
Beomgyu picked a suit from the rack and held it up.
"Try this, Taehyun."
Taehyun stepped out of the dressing room, smoothing the fabric nervously.
"How do I look, Mr. Choi?"
Beomgyu stared longer than he meant to.
"Umm… you."
"Why? Do I not look good?"
"Nah. You're… breathtaking."
He cleared his throat. "Seriously. You look good."
"Ah— thank you, Sir."
"Cut off the formalities for tonight. Call me *Beomgyu hyung*… or Beomie."
"Okay, Mr— I mean… Beomgyu."
"Good."
Taehyun glanced at the price tag.
"Hyung, don't you think this dress is too expensive for a fake date?"
"I don't think so. You're more precious than the dress."
"Ah— you flatter me, hyung."
"Do you want something to eat?"
"No, I'm fine. And… thank you for breakfast and the dress."
"It's okay, Taehyun.
By evening, both were ready.
Beomgyu couldn't take his eyes off Taehyun.
"Why are you looking like that, hyung?" Taehyun asked shyly.
"You're pretty."
"Thank you. You're handsome too."
They left for the business party.
"Just play along," Beomgyu whispered before stepping in. "If you feel uncomfortable, tell me."
"I will, hyung."
"Greetings, Beomgyu-ssi," Lee Joo, the business partner, said warmly.
"Greetings. This is my… boyfriend, Taehyun."
"Ah, he's pretty. You have taste, Beomgyu."
"I know. My Tyun is pretty."
Taehyun flushed. "Thank you, Lee Joo-ssi. Beomgyu is also handsome… and hot."
"Get loose tonight," Lee Joo winked.
"Let's drink something," Beomgyu said.
"Fine, hyung."
"Two shots of soju," Beomgyu ordered.
They clinked glasses.
"Cheers, Taehyun."
A moment later, Lee Joo signaled.
"Beomgyu, shall we talk business?"
"Fine, lead the way. Taehyun, stay here, love. I'll be back. Don't drink too much."
"Okay, hyung."
Beomgyu returned after securing the contract.
"Taehyun, enjoying?"
"Hmm… hyung."
"Already drunk?"
"Nope… just tipsy."
"Okay. One more shot?"
"Fine. Cheers."
"Did the deal go well?" Taehyun asked.
"Yup. Contract secured."
"Congrats, hyung."
Lee Joo watched them with amusement.
"Let's dance, Taehyun," Beomgyu said.
"I don't dance well…"
"It's fine. I'll lead."
Their steps synced slowly.
Beomgyu's hand settled on Taehyun's waist, the other resting on his shoulder.
Taehyun's hands looped around Beomgyu's neck.
They swayed side to side — too close, too warm.
Taehyun suddenly pulled him even closer, foreheads touching.
Their breaths mingled.
Then Taehyun leaned in and pressed a soft kiss onto Beomgyu's lips.
A short, sweet peck.
He pulled back instantly.
"S-sorry, Beomgyu. Lee Joo is looking—"
"Taehyun…" Beomgyu's voice dropped, dark and low.
"You're too tempting to resist."
Before Taehyun could speak, Beomgyu cupped his jaw and pulled him into another kiss.
Deeper.
Hungry.
Taehyun froze in surprise… then melted.
Beomgyu's grip tightened on his waist, drawing him closer until their bodies were flush.
A loud voice cut through the moment.
"Get a room, you two cuties!" Lee Joo shouted.
They broke apart, breathless.
Taehyun cleared his throat, flustered.
Lee Joo disappeared into the crowd.
"Hyung… this is insane," Taehyun muttered.
"Up for another shot?"
"Good… I'm up."
After two or three more, Taehyun was drunk — really drunk — rambling nonsense into Beomgyu's shoulder.
"We're leaving," Beomgyu said.
Taehyun stumbled.
Beomgyu caught him, lifting him over his shoulder.
"Beomie hyung… it's hot… so hot…"
"We're almost at the hotel."
In the elevator, Taehyun leaned heavily on Beomgyu.
"You taste like strawberries, Taehyun… it's your favorite, right?"
"Hmm… my favorite. You taste like…"
Taehyun didn't finish because Beomgyu pinned him gently to the elevator wall and kissed him again.
Soft at first… then heated.
Taehyun whimpered.
Beomgyu slipped his tongue inside, deepening it.
"Hyung… door's open…" Taehyun mumbled.
Beomgyu grabbed him quickly and hurried to his room.
Inside, Beomgyu pushed Taehyun gently against the wall and kissed him again — this time with full passion.
He unbuttoned Taehyun's shirt, lips trailing down his neck and collarbone.
Taehyun's soft moans filled the room.
Beomgyu walked him backward and pushed him onto the bed—
And froze.
"Wait. Taehyun… we shouldn't."
He pulled away, breathing heavily.
"You're hard to resist. But not now. Not when you're not conscious. Not when you won't remember clearly. You're meant to be cherished… not something you regret tomorrow."
"Hyung…" Taehyun whispered.
"No. I'm taking a shower. Stay here."
He pressed a soft kiss to Taehyun's forehead and stepped into the bathroom.
When he came out, Taehyun was half-asleep on the bed.
"Get up, Taehyun. Time to shower."
"Hyung… you think I'm pretty?"
"Yes, you are. And you think I'm handsome and hot."
"I was just… playing along… and telling the truth…"
"Enough. Shower, now."
Taehyun obeyed, still drunk.
When he finished, he unconsciously slipped into the bed beside Beomgyu.
"Oh— hyung, I should go to my room… sorry…"
"No. Stay here tonight. You're my date."
Beomgyu pulled him close by the waist.
Taehyun relaxed into his chest.
And again, Beomgyu fell asleep quicker than usual — arms wrapped tightly around the man he both fancied and tried hard to dislike.
He was falling in love.
