Here I am, in the cold, in the middle of the pouring rain.My name is Akari Nakamura.If you're wondering how I got here, let's look back ten minutes before.There I was in the living room with my mom.
"Why couldn't you be like your sister.She has better looks and is better in academics.If you can't do those things then you are a failure Akari."
The person that she's talking about is my sister, the most popular girl in my school.She has the best looks and is the top scorer on everything.Compared to her I was just a background character.I was the moon, she was the sun.
"Well t-thats because I was."
"Because what?You were always goofing around and was putting no effort in anything.You have no friends, and no girlfriend, and no one else."
Those words had a massive impact on me but there was more she had to say.She looked away and said the words that would remain in my head and heart for a very long time.
"I wish you weren't my son"
"Huh what did you say"
"You heard what I said Akari"
I heard what she said, I just wanted her to admit it was fake.When she said that it wasn't fake my eyes started to tear up and when I felt the tears drip down I wiped it away and I walked to the door.
"Wait where are you going?"
I said nothing and I put on my shoes.I did one last thing or rather one last thing I said.
"You wished I was not your son, I'll grant your wish"
"Wait a minute, please! Please wait!"
I opened the door and ran out of the house in the pouring rain.Every drop that touched my skin made me shiver.It was nothing compared to what she wounded me with.The words kept repeating and repeating in my head when I ran.
I ran and ran until I was at a park.The park was empty and was dead silent.The only thing that I heard was the rustling of the leaves and the pitter patter of rain.I almost slipped when walking but I managed to sit on a bench.
It was wet and cold but there was nothing else to sit on.There was slides and other things but that was in the pouring rain.
"Well atleast this under a canopy of a tree.Why, why did she say that.I'm not your son."
I couldn't distinguish if my tears were from the rain or from my eyes.What ever it was I started to sniffle and I just started to cry.When I heard footsteps I thought it was someone random but it got closer.I looked up and see a girl with an umbrella.
"Who are you?"
