They start to clear the rift and go through it smoothly. They reach the boss room and he stands in the same place and the rude EVO steps up saying "Shut up you weakling" cutting off the general's speech and charges at him.
They get into a blade lock and the EVO loses out on strength. He gets irritated and tries to go back in, but Mia steps in and uses an ignited blade and cuts off the general's arm and blade together.
The EVO tries to go back in to finish it, but gets grabbed by the collar and thrown backwards and he crashes into the wall. "Thats your last warning you idiot" says Rider. Instead Rider walks up and stabs the general on the right side of it's chest. It coughs blood and they all get back allowing the general to do whatever it wants.
They all watch as it walks towards the throne and says "I have failed you my liege". It stretches it out it's arm like it's praising it's king. It goes silent and THUMP goes the general's body and it dies. The rude EVO walks back up and says out loud "TOLD YOU. LISTENING TO THAT LOSER LED US NOWHERE". They all start to walk away and unbelievable pressure raises the tension within the throne room.
"How dare you cowards attack my men and try to leave" says a voice. They look back at the throne and a black figure appears there and all that could be seen is it's red glaring pupils. That instils fear into some of the EVO. They are shivering and cowering. They all keep staring at it and Rider roars out trying to break the fear from his team. "GET IT TOGETHER" he shouts out.
They come out of it and try to prepare themselves.
Throwback to Arthur and Howard talking
"Hasn't this hidden boss already been cleared" asks Arthur. "Yes it has" replies Howard. "Then why haven't they told anyone else how to summon the hidden boss?". "Oh that's easy. Greed" says Howard. "Can't get rid of the humanity in Evolved human". "They act like they are better then us but they are just like us" says Howard.
Back to present.
As they all watch to see what the boss might do, they are all ready to react and Arthur at the back watching on thinks "Wow this pressure is insane". The king stands up from his throne and walks towards the general's body, kneeling down at his corpse. "You have served me well". "Rest now my friend". He says gently as the corpse turns to ash and disappears.
He stands at the top of the stairs and looks down at them and says "Your heads are too high for mere ants". He does a simple hand motion down and WHOOSH. All of the EVO get put down while most go down completely on the floor, Rider, Mia and 2 others are the only ones on one knee.
One of the mages erects a barrier around himself to remove the effect of dense force. He stands up and the king who was standing in front of his throne appears behind him saying "I told you to..". "Bow your head" as he swings a dark blade and removes his head off clean. Mia breaks free and swings her blade at him but it doesn't connect. He reappears in front of his throne.
The king starts to manifest and can now be seen properly. A human like figure with white slick back hair and has eagle like eyes with royal attire. The blade in his hand is a feather sword. "Filthy Humans" he says in a disgusted manner. He looks down on them as a fireball comes towards him. He cuts it with ease and the second attack comes and blocks that. He looks unbothered and bored as they are in a blade lock.
He overpowers and sees her back. Rider attacks next and as he gets close enough, he moves to the side as a magic attack comes from behind him. The king takes care of it and stops the backstab from the dual dagger EVO aka Anna with hanging his blade behind his back and spins and kicks her on her side sending her flying.
"You mutts are an annoyance" he utters as he attacks the mages. They try to put a barrier up, but with the feather coated with a purple aura. It stood no chance and broke it while taking one mage with it and the other getting out of the way from the second attack coming towards them, but couldn't dodge the third wave coming from the blade and got sliced in half.
Rider tries to regain control by going at him with his shield and keeping him busy while the others regroup. The block didn't work as he got pushed back and randomly falls to the ground. "What" he says as he falls backwards. The king comes to strike him down, but Mia charges at him and then she falls over missing completely.
"I'm ready" shouts the rude EVO as he has charged an aqua sword. It looks like a soft bubble around the sword and as he sends out a strike towards the king, the pressure increases and comes at him as a deadly strike. The king dodges out of the way. Rider comes in for a strike and pierces him on his right side. "WE CAN DO THIS" shouts Rider and the rest start to move.
"Do What?" He says in his face. He grabs his blade so he can't move and then starts to choke him. "Ahh" squeals Rider and the others try to attack the king but it's just bait. He throws Rider and pulls out his blade. Anna tries another backstab, but this time the king does a 180 spin dodging one of her daggers and she says "Gotcha" and she goes to strike with her other one.
"Huh" she says and thinks to herself "Why is everything upside down?" as her head is taken off and rolls on the ground. With that spin he does, Mia is close by and...
