"The city built it," Almara answered, her voice lazy as her fatty tissue sank into the mattress. "There are like twenty safehouses spread across the jungle."
"Twenty!" He exclaimed, indefinitely irritating the other. "That's impressive!"
"Don't yell," Almara demanded, "I'm trying to sleep."
"Sorry," He winced, "I just didn't think the city would be this advanced. Building so many safe houses is not only good, it's smart. We're fighting with stone spears up there, for fuck's sake, so I didn't expect all these treasures you have down here."
"Treasures?" She repeated, her eyes closed.
Jimmy sat on the bunk bed, facing Almara. He looked right past her fat breast, ignored it completely, and focused on the topic at hand.
"Yes!" He said, "How big is this city? How many people? It must have taken quite some firepower to build the safe houses with all these dinosaurs running around."
