An invader lunged at a child who was collecting flowras in a garden, but before the invader could touch the child, Kael stepped in and sliced the invader in half with his sword. The invader disntegrated as it died.
The world had been invaded by invaders who planned to enslave humans and control the earth. The Golden Empire's queen had sent Kael on a mission to help people from smaller villages. Right now, he was heading towards a village, known as Navrine[Nav-rin]. The path was long and boring, much to Kael's annoyance.
Kaul heard a scream and bolted forward, towards the direction of the source of the scream. There, he saw a red-headed guy surrounded by invades. Without a second thought, he drew his sword and sliced the invaders in one slice. After the invaders disintegrated, Kaul turned towards the guy and asked, "Are you alright—," he paused,
He recognised the guy, Hell, he knows him for a while now. A face he loaths since the beginning of his life. Rei. Rei looked up at him, surprised to see him. "Kael?!" Rei exclaimed. Kael's, expresion darkened on seeing him, a mixture of hatred and annoyane visible as clear as glasss. Kael wanted to walk away, but Rei grabbed his hand, "Wait." He said. Kael turned and looked at him, "What?" He asked bitterly. "Are you going to fight invaders?" Rei asked. Kael laughed with no humour, "What do you think? That I wore the armour for fun?"
Rei realised his mistake and internally scolded himself. His grip on Kael's arm loosened but he didn't let go. "Can I... come with you? I know we arenot on the best terms, but still...." Rei pled. Kael froze, he was going to rejet, even ignore him but. for some reasen he could not do so. The look on Rei's face made Kael hesitate before he nodded, "Just.. don't cause trouble and... stay quiet." He said, Rei's eyes lit up, He took his things and walked besides Kal.
And together, the two went on a adventure with Rei following kael like a dog.
