Rick, Carmilla, and Natasha were forced to move to the back, where the wounded would be taken. Carmilla looked like she was about to rip something apart out of anger.
"We should be fighting!" She growled and held her sword hilt so tightly that her knuckles turned white.
Natasha shook her head, but her face showed that she agreed emotionally. "We'd be dead in seconds because we're all out of energy."
"We have no mana left, no stamina left, and we're all hurt. We'd be a burden for them all."
Rick couldn't do anything but watch as the fight went on. His eyes started to pick out individual fighters in the middle of the chaos. His system pinged softly, not too loudly, but just enough to get his attention on some demon warriors.
Vyra was a deadly whirlwind of grace. Her two swords flashed in the firelight as they cut through corrupted beasts with surgical precision.
