"And what about the other future?" Rick asked, even though he was afraid of the answer.
Liora opened her eyes and saw that they were full of tears. "The Archon captures you in an alternate future."
"He makes your bond network into a weapon by corrupting it, and the Seven Powers feed his darkness, and the world enters a time of death and darkness."

The shrine was hushed, and it felt heavy. Rick sat there, thinking about how heavy what Liora had said was.
He was responsible for everything. His decisions, his connections, and his power to bring together the Seven Major Powers before the Archon could stop him.
