The ensuing shockwave felt wrongâdampened, absorbed by a surge of One For All. Izuku had shielded him. Bakugo stumbled back, rage immediately eclipsing the terror that had just gripped his heart.
"The hell, Deku! I had it! Stop using yourself as a goddamn human shield!" Bakugo roared.
In the sterile hospital room, Bakugo woke. He couldn't voice his fear, so he drew his weapon, his anger.
"You think you're still worth nothing, Deku?! Stop throwing your damn life away for every extra! You are the priority!" Bakugo yelled.
Izuku stared back, tiredly. "You were going to break yourself, Kacchan. Someone had to stop the feedback."
Bakugo fell silent.
He looks at me like he forgave me, but he still thinks I'm reckless.-đB
He turned away, hiding the overwhelming fear that he had failed his unstated vow to keep Izuku safe.
