Derivan, in his Shonetsu form, appeared in front of Krenom in the blink of an eye. Before the teenager's double could do anything, he received a powerful punch to the face that sent him flying a considerable distance.
"Yashimiro…" Kira, seeing her brother being pushed away, immediately ran toward Nohara. "Nohara, hang in there!"
Krenom quickly regained his balance and flew upward. Yashimiro began gathering an energy sphere that grew larger with every passing moment. When it reached the proper size, Yashimiro fired it at his opponent.
"If that attack hits me, I might not survive it," Krenom said, raising his hand toward the attack and creating three energy shields in front of himself.
To Krenom's surprise, Derivan's attack struck and began breaking through his shields.
"Damn it, don't think you can defeat me that easily!" Krenom fired a shockwave.
When the two attacks collided, a massive explosion followed, causing the entire island to tremble.
"What's going on here?" Blade decided to run toward the battlefield and was surprised when he saw Derivan's transformation. "So he has undergone a complete transformation. I guess I should keep looking for that crystal."
Krenom looked around for Yashimiro, who appeared above him in a split second and slammed his leg into the double's neck, driving him into the ground and creating a huge crater.
"I didn't think I'd have to use my full power," Krenom said as he began releasing even more energy. His body became surrounded by a red aura, and his hair rose upward, turning red.
"So that bastard was hiding that much power?" Blade commented.
"Is that Yashimiro?"
"Nohara, are you alright?"
"My face and the rest of my body still hurt after that jerk's punches."
Inside his own mind, Yashimiro was covered in dark ropes that were pulling him toward black water. At the same time, Krenom jumped into the air, but a second later Derivan appeared in front of his double and kicked him in the face, sending him flying in an unknown direction. Nohara was shocked and terrified by her friend's form.
"Is that Yashimiro's true form?"
Kira nodded. "Yes. This is our true form called Senero 3. We can only use this transformation in two situations. The first is when our rage becomes so great that we lose control. The second is when our lives are on the brink of death," she explained.
"I see."
Krenom fired a powerful energy beam. Derivan crossed his arms and took the hit, which sent him flying toward a mountain.
"YASHIMIRO!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! And what do you say to this?"
Derivan appeared behind his opponent, but this time Krenom managed to block the blow.
"Not this time." Krenom created an energy sphere in his hand and pressed it against Derivan's torso, causing a massive explosion.
After receiving the attack, the demon fell to the ground. Without hesitation, Krenom immediately launched another assault and began beating Derivan. At one point Shonetsu grabbed his arm and threw his double away.
"Even after releasing my full power, he's still able to resist me," Krenom thought.
Yashimiro extended his arm using demonic choki and grabbed Krenom, then lifted him into the air and slammed him into the ground before smashing him through trees in the forest.
"FUCK!"
Krenom had to increase his power even more to break free from Derivan's grip.
"No… no, it can't end like this… I AM UNDEFEATED!"
In the city of Ozoro, Mozalia was carrying out her daily duties when suddenly she felt something strange.
"That feeling…" the woman looked out the window, grabbing her arm. "Yashimiro…"
Meanwhile, on the Island of Oblivion, Krenom flew above the island, raising his hand and creating several massive energy spheres which he dropped onto the island.
"He's insane, he wants to destroy the entire island!" Kira commented in shock.
Yashimiro rushed toward the attacks, trying to destroy them.
"He won't be able to destroy them all in time. There are too many."
"In that case I'll help him," Nohara activated Kuritaizu. "I'll use the rest of my choki to protect us and the island."
Several spheres created by Derivan's double began to be covered by crystals, which soon started shrinking them until they completely dissipated. At the same time, Derivan managed to destroy the remaining ones except the last. Before Yashimiro could destroy the final sphere, Krenom caused it to explode.
"YASHIMIRO!"
Nohara fell to her knees, breathing heavily. After the last use of Kuritaizu, she had exhausted all her choki.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah… I'm just exhausted."
Meanwhile Lucas was hiding somewhere on the island.
"What a fight. That brat is stronger than I thought."
Suddenly something flashed in his eyes. As he approached, a satisfied grin appeared on Lucas's face.
"I found it. The boss will be pleased. In that case, nothing more for me to do here. Let those two kill each other," Lucas said as he flew away from the island.
Krenom began to feel the effects of the battle and started panting.
"No one has ever pushed me this far."
Suddenly Derivan burst out of the smoke and tried to grab his double, but Krenom managed to escape at the last moment.
"You're still alive?"
The demon began gathering an energy sphere in front of him and fired a demonic beam. In response, Krenom fired his own beam. When the two attacks collided, they struggled against each other, and the shockwaves from such powerful forces caused cracks all over the island.
"Damn it… there's no way I'm losing."
At that moment Tortoro regained consciousness and was shocked by the condition of the Island of Oblivion.
"My island!" The Karokuzo demon ran toward the battlefield. "If this continues, nothing will be left of the island. If I hadn't used so much energy earlier, maybe I could still do something."
Soon a massive explosion occurred, throwing Kira, Nohara, and Tortoro a considerable distance away.
Krenom disappeared from Derivan's sight, and a second later energy chains grabbed him.
"I've got you. Now you won't escape or attack," Krenom said with a sinister smile as he released his choki and shocked Yashimiro with it, making him howl like a demon.
"I have to do something," Nohara said. "I can't just stand here and watch."
"What are you talking about? You've already used all your choki. What could you possibly do?"
Nohara stood up, clenching her fists. "I'll try to talk some sense into your brother. Even that is better than doing nothing. I just need you to cover me."
Kira looked at Nohara for a moment, thinking about what to do, but eventually agreed.
"Alright. You can count on me."
Meanwhile Derivan broke free from Krenom's chains.
"Impossible."
He then grabbed him with his claw and threw his double toward the sea.
"YASHIMIRO, STOP!"
Yashimiro noticed Nohara running toward him and immediately fired a demonic energy projectile at her.
"I won't allow that!" Kira neutralized her brother's attack with her own energy blast.
"Please Yashimiro, wake up!" Nohara pleaded desperately.
Inside his mind, Yashimiro's eyelids twitched when he heard the familiar voice.
"I recognize that voice… but who does it belong to?"
"It's useless. When a Shonetsu demon reaches the complete Senero 3 transformation, no one can make them return to normal," Blade commented while observing the situation from afar.
Derivan ignored his friend's voice and struck her in the face with his demonic claw.
"NOHARA!"
Kira's scream reached Yashimiro's mind, causing him to open his eyes.
"That's right… I know whose voice that was. Nohara… how could I forget? Did I lose control again? No… I won't let that happen again! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Yashimiro began tearing himself away from his demonic nature. The ropes holding him started to snap, and soon he moved away from the dark water.
Outside, Derivan's body began glowing purple while the demonic shell disappeared moment by moment.
"What's happening?" everyone wondered while watching.
Soon a bright light burst forth, forming a huge pillar that scattered the clouds above the island.
"Yashimiro…"
When the light disappeared, Yashimiro was revealed, though his appearance had changed slightly. His hair had turned purple and become sharper, his eyes were surrounded by dark circles and his pupils were red. Additionally, a purple aura surrounded the teenager's body.
Yashimiro's power was so immense that it could be felt across the entire planet and beyond.
"That power…" Even Tomar was shocked sensing Derivan's energy.
"Lord Gerard, what happened?" Yarita asked.
"I didn't expect that kid to surpass his Shonetsu race. The situation has changed. He could become a serious threat to us. We must complete the Kinotro crystal as soon as possible."
"Yes, sir."
