Alan's POV
Since Tracker departed on assignment, Summers and I have been alternating surveillance duties over Donovan. We don't anticipate any immediate threats before her Academy enrollment, but danger has a way of finding you when you least expect it. Our proactive approach means comprehensive coverage, so we established a monitoring rotation. Having installed the security infrastructure in her brother's pack territory ourselves, accessing their surveillance feeds proves surprisingly straightforward.
This morning finds me observing her warrior training session. My lips curve upward. She possesses exceptional skill. Genuinely impressive abilities.
Then everything changes.
My expression darkens as I amplify the audio feed. The adjustment proves futile. Too many warriors occupy the training grounds, their voices creating an overlapping cacophony of instructions and commentary.
