Chapter 3 - CHAPTER-3

🌙 [Scene 1 - Kang Su Hyun's Room, Nightfall]

A dark red glow flickers through the Kang mansion.

Su Hyun sits on the edge of his bed - hair slightly messy, eyes cold yet distracted. His thoughts race like fire.

"How can someone stop time?"

"And why wasn't I affected?"

He clenches his jaw, closing his eyes. His fingers twitch-

and the air vibrates. Papers fly, the room shakes, the ground trembles slightly. He's summoning his full power-searching through the threads of Seorah's magic to find that person.

The veins on his neck and arms begin to surface, glowing faintly red. His breathing turns heavy-each pulse of energy burning through him like fire.

And then-

đź’Ą CRASH!

He falls to the floor, gasping.

He opens his eyes, trembling.

"I used... everything. Every drop of my power-and still nothing. How's that possible?"

His voice breaks with shock.

Su Hyun, the Red Heir, has never failed to trace anyone before.

The door bursts open - his mother rushes in, his father following behind.

Mom (worried): "Su Hyun!! What did you do?! Look at you-why did you overuse your powers again?"

Su Hyun: "Because I had to. I needed to find someone."

Dad: "Someone?"

Su Hyun (breathing hard): "At university... time stopped. Everything. Everyone. Except me. I don't even have that power! I needed to know who did that-but even with full strength, I got nothing. It's like... that person doesn't exist in this world."

Both parents exchange a terrified glance.

Mom (whispering): "No one's ever resisted your power before... unless..."

Dad (serious): "Unless they belong to something stronger. Something lost."

Su Hyun looks at them both - his red eyes dimming.

"Then I'll find them myself. Whoever they are."

🌙 [Scene 2 - Seron's House, Late Night]

Seron hums quietly while cleaning the kitchen. Her hands pause on a glass-she stares at her wrist.

The golden tattoo faintly flickers.

"Did I... really stop time?"

"No... it's not possible. Mom said I have no powers."

She sits down slowly, hugging her knees, whispering to herself.

"Then why didn't it affect me? If someone did it... why was I still moving?"

Her reflection in the window looks back at her, golden light fading from her wrist.

🌄 [Scene 3 - Morning at Kang Mansion]

Sunlight hits the grand staircase. Su Hyun adjusts his cufflinks, looking perfect but visibly tired.

His reflection in the mirror seems colder today-haunted.

He walks down, his father waiting with a serious face.

Dad: "Still weak from last night?"

Su Hyun (smirks): "Weak? Never. Just... curious."

Dad: "Curiosity gets people killed in Seorah, son."

Su Hyun: "Then they shouldn't stand in my way."

He leaves, his reflection catching a faint red flicker in his eyes.

🌅 [Scene 4 - Seron's House, Morning]

Seron stands in her small room, staring at her reflection.

She's wearing a soft white dress today, her long hair open, sunlight bouncing off her face.

She adds a small tint of pink lipstick-then hesitates.

Her mom bursts in-arms crossed.

Mom: "Why are you dressed like that? Trying to impress someone?"

Seron: "No, Mom. There's a small university function today-everyone's dressing up."

Mom: "Ha! You? Impress someone? You've got no powers and no looks. Just like I told you-your sister comes home tomorrow. Don't embarrass us. Clean her room when you're back!"

Seron (soft smile): "Yes, Mom..."

She walks out.

But once outside, she wipes away her lipstick with her sleeve.

"Mom's right... who would even notice me?"

Her smile fades as the wind brushes through her hair.

🎉 [Scene 5 - Seorah University - Festival Day]

The Festival of Destined Souls - a day said to bond fated partners forever if they meet.

Students fill the courtyard-powers flash in the air like fireworks.

Some show off illusions, others summon sparks or water trails.

Seron walks through the crowd nervously, eyes darting.

Everyone's laughing, glowing, powerful-she feels like the only human among gods.

Min Ji (grinning): "Girl! You're turning heads today! Even without your makeup, you look like some kind of golden heir!"

Seron (laughs softly): "If only that were true."

🏊 [Scene 6 - The Poolside]

Meanwhile-

Su Hyun and Da Bin chill near the pool, surrounded by energy and noise.

Everywhere Su Hyun walks, powers flicker out-students instantly lose focus.

Dabin: "Bro, why do you look like the world's about to bow to you today?"

Su Hyun (smirks): "Maybe because it already does."

Dabin: "Girls drool over you, bro. But tell me-could anyone ever make you lose control?"

Su Hyun: "Impossible."

Just then-

Two girls argue near the food area. One is Min Ji, the other Sora (the rude illusionist).

And beside them-Seron, trying to stop the fight, calm but firm.

Su Hyun's gaze locks on her.

Her hair moves slightly with the wind, sunlight catching her eyes.

The entire world goes silent around him.

His heartbeat echoes-

Thump... thump... thump...

Her face.

That calm energy.

That glow near her wrist.

The air tightens.

His red eyes flicker to life again-🔥-burning with recognition.

He takes a step back unconsciously-then another-

and suddenly splashes right into the pool.

The world gasps.

Everyone turns.

Su Hyun, the unstoppable Red Heir, just fell headfirst into the water.

Dabin bursts into laughter.

Dabin: "BROOO-WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Su Hyun surfaces, hair dripping, eyes furious-but... his gaze darts around.

He's not angry. He's searching.

"Where... is she?"

But Seron's already gone-

running through the crowd, her phone pressed to her ear.

Mom (on call): "Come home now! Your sister's returning! You've got work to do!"

Seron: "Okay, Mom... I'm coming."

She doesn't even look back.

Su Hyun, standing by the pool, dripping water, stares at the spot she stood moments ago.

The golden light in his memory flickers-her outline replaying in his mind like a vision.

Su Hyun (whispering): "Who... are you?"

The music of the festival fades, replaced by a faint hum-

A golden shimmer passes through the air for a second, unseen by all... except him.
