"Ouch!" I yelped, jerking my legs away from Kastiel.
The sudden sting caught me completely off guard. One second his hands had been pressing gently into my calves, easing the soreness from all the running around I had done earlier, and the next—
He had bitten me.
Actually bitten me. It sounded ridiculous even to me. Why would he bite me? What was wrong with him?
It had brought me out of my head immediately but why would he do that? It made absolutely no sense.
I pulled my legs closer to myself and glared at him.
"Why would you do that?" I demanded, rubbing the spot he had bitten.
Kastiel didn't even look slightly guilty.
Instead, he leaned back against the sofa with that same calm, lazy expression he always had, like biting people was a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
"What were you thinking about?" he asked.
"Nothing," I replied immediately. There was no way I was going to tell him what I was thinking about.
Then I narrowed my eyes at him.
