"Don't forget the petals that get thrown when the Alpha king parades through the town," Phoenix laughed, his grin wide as he imagined the chaotic yet beautiful spectacle.
"Oh my fucking God," Jamie groaned, dropping his head into his hands. His fingers dragged through his hair as if the thought alone was exhausting him. "I completely forgot about the petals."
"Parade?" I asked, my eyebrows lifting as I tried to picture it. The word alone sounded dramatic, but the idea of an Alpha king walking through town while people threw flower petals at him felt even more surreal.
"Yes. It's not just flowers. There are other events that take place that day. The flower culture starts on the first day and continues until the last day. That's the day you give your lover a flower, by the way. The other days have different events." Phoenix said.
"Events like what?" I pressed, leaning forward slightly. The more they talked about it, the more curious I became.
