Soren opened the group chat.
The first thing he noticed was the name.
Planning Committee for Birthday Boy.
The second thing he noticed was who had been added.
Himself, Phoenix, Jamie, and Elio.
He frowned.
Where was Holland?
And why were the three of them in a group chat with Holland's brother? More importantly, what exactly were they planning?
The lingering hangover still sat behind his eyes like a low, stubborn fog, but seeing Elio's name in the member list immediately caught his attention. Elio rarely texted first, and whenever he did, it was usually about something concerning Holland.
Soren scrolled up and noticed that Elio was typing.
A few seconds later, a message appeared.
Elio: Hi guys! (≧▽≦)
Soren stared at the screen.
That was it?
He waited, expecting another message to follow, but nothing came. Then the typing indicator appeared again.
Elio: I've been waiting for you guys to text first, but nobody has said anything. ಠ︵ಠ
Soren blinked.
