Nicholas closed his eyes.
"Dear Goddess, please stop."
"Why? Are you broke?" Elian asked.
"ELIAN!"
Jamie burst out laughing beside him, shaking his head at his husband's antics.
"Can you stop bullying my husband?" Soren said, coming to Nicholas's defence at last.
However, before Nicholas could appreciate the support, Soren turned towards Kasteil.
"Babe, don't forget the Bucci bag you promised to get me tomorrow."
We burst out laughing all over again.
Nicholas looked at his husband in surprise, but Soren merely gave him an innocent look, as though he hadn't just betrayed him in front of everyone.
"I thought you loved me?" Nicholas asked.
"Love isn't going to feed him. Get him the Bucci bag," Kasteil said, laughing.
Soren raised both hands in support, clearly pleased to have someone backing him up.
"It's a bag. It's not going to feed him either," I pointed out quietly from beside Kasteil.
Kasteil turned to me.
"Do you want one?"
