Chapter 316 - a task

Hades, Poseidon, and Athena were dashing at tremendous speed from Asgard toward an unknown destination.

The three rulers were moving at maximum speed, and their expressions were completely different than usual.

None of them spoke.

It was clear that the mission assigned to them by the three Seers was no ordinary mission.

And as they flew...

Poseidon looked at Athena and said:

"If things go wrong, Athena... I want you to escape with him."

Athena looked at him angrily, then said:

"Do you want me to escape with...?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Poseidon interrupted her:

"Have you forgotten that I am the leader this time, Athena?"

Then he looked at her seriously and added:

"Execute the order without argument."

Silence prevailed for a few moments.

It was strange to see Poseidon speaking so seriously.

He did not usually act this way, and he often handled matters with recklessness and banter.

But this time...

He was completely different.

Then Poseidon looked at Hades and said:

"Hades, I do not care what is going through your mind."

He paused for a moment, then continued:

"But I want you to support us from behind when we get there."

Then he pointed to himself and to them.

And said:

"When we go there, we will set a trap."

He added:

"And when they appear... use Pandora's Box to surround the place with the power of death."

Then he said seriously:

"I want us to corner them and weaken them as much as possible."

Hades looked at Poseidon for a few moments.

Then he said:

"Do not slow down, brother."

He added:

"The important thing now is to hurry. We must arrive before everything begins."

Poseidon nodded.

As for Athena...

She remained silent, looking straight ahead.

Then the three continued flying at their maximum speed toward their destination.

No one in Asgard knew where the ancient rulers had gone.

And no one knew why they had taken off with such speed.

Nor why Poseidon, known for his recklessness, became the leader of this group instead of Hades or Athena.

Most importantly...

No one knew what mission the three Seers had given them.

But one thing was certain...

If the Seers had made Poseidon himself the leader of the mission, and ordered him to be prepared for the possibility of Athena escaping with the person he spoke of...

Then the mission must be extremely dangerous.

Elsewhere...

Far away from Poseidon, Hades, and Athena...

Nott, Ull, and Yord were flying swiftly toward Asgard.

They had already finished interrogating the demon.

And the three were discussing what they had heard from the demon lord after he confessed everything.

Nott looked at Ull and said:

"What do you think of this, Ull?"

Then he added:

"I think their coming after us was nothing but a mere coincidence."

He remained silent for a moment, then said:

"And so far... neither the Dark Elves nor the demons know anything about us."

Ull nodded slowly.

And said:

"You are right about that."

Then he continued:

"But I did not expect the Dark Elves to be followers of the demons in the Mira Continent, and that they would use their connection to the demons to find us."

This piece of information was still occupying his thoughts.

Things had become more complicated than they expected.

As for Yord...

She was flying beside them, but she was not completely at ease.

She said in a voice carrying a hint of anxiety:

"The demons have strange methods."

And she continued:

"And after what we did to their followers... they will not remain silent."

Nott looked at her for a moment.

Then he laughed sarcastically and said:

"If they want to be angry at anyone, let them be angry at the Dark Elves."

Then he smiled and added:

"They are the reason we killed their followers, aren't they?"

Ull looked at Nott.

Then he nodded calmly.

And Yord nodded too.

But despite her agreement...

The anxiety did not disappear from her heart.

She felt that things were not over yet.

Because even if the demons did not know their location or who they were...

They had now become their enemies.

Moreover, the Dark Elves would not ignore what happened easily.

And as the three continued flying toward Asgard...

The distance between them and the Mira Continent was increasing little by little.
