Armoured demon knights surged forward, swords bathed in flames that scorched the ground. Jinyoung darted through their ranks with Mana Flow Step, his strikes leaving violet scars in the flames.
When the fire threatened to overwhelm and burn him, he fused death energy into his defenses, creating a Death Shield that absorbed the infernal blasts.
"Wait, we surrender—"
"Uh? A beast can speak?"
"I'm not a normal beast. I'm a noble demon, Easil Randiru."
"I spare you, since you don't have murderous intent."

Scene 3 – Cerberus the Gatekeeper
The ground shook violently as a monstrous howl echoed through the castle. From the hidden shadow of the fortress emerged Cerberus, the three‑headed hound of hell, its eyes burning with flame.

- Infernal Flame — melts mana armour.
- Triple Roar — sonic shockwaves that destabilised aura.
- Hellfire Chain — chains erupted from the ground, binding the target, forcing them into submission.
Jinyoung struggled against its relentless assault. He used the Paralysis Dagger to weaken one head, then unleashed Death Barrage Combo across its massive body. Each strike left black/purple scars that spread like rot through its flames.
Finally, channeling Death Drain, he pulled the beast's life force into his aura. Cerberus collapsed, its three heads silenced, leaving ash. It seemed its soul was not claimed, because it was a demon.

Beside him stood a mount — a Wyvern (B-Rank).

Scene 6 – Baran and the Wyvern Attack
- Hellfire Slash — sword arcs of flames that cut and burn through mana.
- Infernal Burst — explosions of flame that consumed necromancer's energy.
- Demon Roar — destabilising Jinyoung's aura further with waves of flames.
Jinyoung countered with Mana Sever infused with death energy, slicing through flames. His Death Barrage Combo forced the clone back, but the hellfire drained his mana faster than frost ever had.
The wyvern attacked, but was slaughtered.
