In a world dominated by magic, everybody use magic, cleaning, washing, fighting, basic house cleaning and others. A person who has no affinity for magic is considered and outcast.
In a two room apartment in the slum of Australian. A young girl of 18 was sitting on her bed studying. The house was dilapidated that it may collapse anytime. Her room was neat despite the ugly dent on the walls and the scarred floors. There was a knock on the door. A woman enter.
"You are still studying, Rose. You should rest ", the woman said. She is rose's mother, Mrs Sterling.
"Don't worry mom, I just want to finish this work. I will go to bed soon".
"My darling", she took a sit beside her before continuing. "You don't have to make it hard on yourself, I have no affinity for magic so do your late father also. Study harder and focus less on magic if you have no affinity, I am not trying to discourage you my daughter but don't waste your time on something that will prove useless for you".
Rose look up momentarily, "don't worry mom, I am going to study harder and become a great person even if I have no affinity for magic.
She turns back and embrace her while sobbing. "I trust you my dear".

The next day
Mrs Sterling was preparing food in the small kitchen when she heard a knock on the door.
"I wonder who it is it at this hour", she mutter.
She open the door only to find a middle age man standing there. His head was bald.
"…..erm…. Mr John, I will try to pay the rent by next week. Please give up a little time", my daughter is preparing for her exams so I used up all my savings to….."
The old man cuts in " I don't want to hear any of that, if I don't get my money by the end of next week. Prepare to pack out of my house". The man retorted angrily and left without letting her say another word
Mrs sterling close the door while sighing. She sobs quietly not wanting to let her daughter hear but Rose enter.
"Mom, what is wrong, did something happened".
She turn back towards the kitchen while cleaning her face.
"No, nothing happened. The onion make my eyes wet". She lied.
"Ok mom". She said trying to sound like she didn't hear a thing. She then went to the kitchen to help her mother.

Rose was standing in front of Milestone College, Her Luggage beside her. A reputable school in the whole city, A place of learning for the rich. Rose won a scholarship to study here. As she open the big gate. She was met with a
A woman wearing a long silver cloth with a high heel, her earrings dangling in her ear. She looks stunning and rose was captivated but she maintained her composure.
"Are You Rose Anderson ?", she ask.
"Yes", Rose replied.
"You can call me Aunt Nelson", she turns and started walking toward a building, Rose followed her. "I am in charge of theGirls Hostel", she continue. "So you have a problem you should come and meet me", she pointed to a girl nearby. "Rebecca, take her around the school, also she will be staying with you others". She leave.
"Hey, you are the new transfer girl right", Rebecca glance at her.
"….yeah…I am Rose and I get that you are Rebecca", Rose replied timidly. She is not used to chatting with others except her mother because she had no friend in her previous school because they all considered her an outcast since she has no magic.
"Come one, let drop your luggage in the dorm and I will show you around the school", Rose said and took her luggage.
After about 2 hours of showing rose around the school, they went back to their dorm where Rebecca introduce the other girls to her.
"Nice meeting you, I am Elizabeth", one the girls with long black hair said.
"I am Olivia, Nice meeting you", the other said.
"I am Rebecca, I hope we get along". She went to unpack her luggage while the others joined her. They had a conversation
Until when Rebecca ask a question.
"….hmm, I forgot to ask, what type of magic do you use". She ask innocently.
"…..erm….erm….", she stammering not knowing what to say.
"Don't worry, it doesn't matter what type of magic you awakened. We all awakened low level magic". Olivia said.
Rose buried her head down before speaking "I… have no….affinity for magic".
The other three exchange glance and look at Rose.
"It does not matter if you have no affinity in magic. Just try to keep it a secret of you would be target by bullies", Elizabeth said.
"Also, Don't interfere with the the three Princes". Rebecca added.
"Who are the three Prince", Rose ask unknowingly.
Rebecca sigh before continuing, "they are the top three in this school, they come from Rich families and has high level magic so it is better not to offend them not to be targeted. They are Thomas Leo, Lucas James, Micheal Nathan. It looks like we are in the same class so it is better to know how to behave not to oppose them". She concluded.
After a while, they finished unpacking and chat for some time before going to bed.
