Chapter 1 - 0. Prelude

(2nd September 1946)

Two weeks after the start of Direct Action Day, British India's Interim Head, the president of Indian National Congress, Hariom Singh arrived in the Parliament.

After reincarnating over a century in past, when British ruled India, he obviously joined the path of a politician, with the goal of becoming the First PM of India to avoid the dark future, of partition, of useless and stupid government, and sustained poverty.

He did manage to become the president of Congress party after the provincial elections. Defeating Sardar Patel fair and square with one vote. Out of the 16 votes which decided who will become the first PM of India, he managed to get 7, while Sardar Patel got 6, Jawaharlal Nehru 0, and 3 abstained.

He is popular. He has done many things to get India independence, but safely so that he didn't get executed.

And he is seeing the outcome of playing it safe.

Despite his best efforts, he ultimately can't stop the partition.

So, he will do his best to ensure that it happens on his terms to prevent the future problems from rising any further.

Today, Indian National Congress formed the provincial government with full majority.

UK's plan is to forcibly bring Muslim League in the government despite it having lost clearly, only winning the muslim reserved seats.

It's intention to divide India is crystal clear.

Thankfully, Muslim League has boycotted entering into the parliament right now to continue its genocide.

So, there is no opposition in Parliament.

Even if the British reject today's resolution, it no longer matters.

He will create the borders today. Borders that aren't beneficial to neighbours and western powers. But the least disruptive to India.
