As Clad jumps from one to another, he decides to get down and start walking as he's getting tired.
Jill's team is having little to no issues as they smoothly went through the majority of the forest with no encounters. Jill hints at how bored she is, and the others agree with her statement when suddenly an arrow flies directly at her head, piercing her skull and making red blood pour out of her head.

"Shit, they got Jill!" One of the soldiers shouted as the team quickly took a defensive position.
"Master..huh??" Lylia said in confusion as she looked at Jill, still standing and unfazed by the arrow in her head or the fact that she was bleeding, and removed it.
YANK!
"Damn, that hurt like hell!" Jill loudly said as her wound rapidly closed. She took a glance at the direction where the arrow was sent, only to see a man who seemed to be wearing a hood with military camouflage and night vision goggles, standing in a tree, holding a black bow as he looked directly at her from afar.
"No way she can see me from that far.." The man muttered to himself.
Jill looked directly at him, and the man realised that she could, in fact, see him from this distance.
The woman noticed a faint but present energy on him and decided to look into it.
"I'll handle this guy," Jill said as she grew black, feathered wings from her back, flying directly towards the man.

"What the!" The man said as Jill's hand grew dark claws as she dove directly on him, breaking the tree he was standing on with a single swing of her right arm, but he unexpectedly vanished out of thin air, only to reappear on a tree behind her.
"An awakened, and an illusion type at that?"
"This one's gonna be tricky," Jill said as she looked at the man from below as he stood on a tree branch, slightly hidden by the heavy fog of the forest.
