Chapter 15 - Luke, Can You Please Tell Me About That Power?!

"As for the food, don't worry about it. Just leave it to Luke."

Uvogin remained nonchalant, completely unconcerned.

Nobunaga swallowed the last bite of fried rice.

To be able to casually pull out such a unique fruit lunch box and use such a delicious meal as a gift.

Nobunaga was more willing to believe that this person named Luke, whom he had just met, could solve the food problem.

But as for the space in the house... They couldn't possibly expand it, could they?

Let's not even talk about whether they had the skills or the ability to do it.

Even if they did want to expand, the other guys in Meteor City, who were eyeing them covetously, would definitely not let them go.

If these kids could stick together, couldn't the others?

Once they complete the renovations and expansion, they'll probably be the first to suffer, their gains reaped by others.

"Space in the house isn't a problem."

Phinks was even more confident than Luke himself.

Having witnessed Luke's wonders firsthand and enjoyed the benefits, he now had a somewhat blind faith in him!

"Not a problem?"

Nobunaga remained skeptical and turned to look at Luke.

Then he saw Luke casually pulling out the Four-Dimensional Building Extension Blocks.

Nobunaga then repeated the stunned expression of Uvogin and Phinks.

"It actually expanded..."

Nobunaga muttered while gazing at the staircase that had suddenly appeared in the corner of the wall, and the space connecting it to the upper level.

And crucially, it wasn't just one level.

"There are six of us here, so I've added five more floors."

Luke said, adding five more layers of blocks.

"I want the highest floor!"

Before Luke could even start choosing a floor, Uvogin immediately decided on his own.

"I want to be at the very top!"

No one challenged him.

Even Phinks was slightly annoyed by what Uvogin had said.

But the thought of having to climb six more floors to get to his room robbed him of interest.

Well, while these Four-Dimensional Building Extension Blocks can add floors, it doesn't have an elevator.

You can only climb the stairs, which is a minor drawback.

It's like in Doraemon, Nobita built his room dozens of floors high, but the bathroom stayed on the first floor, forcing him to keep climbing down…

Until finally, unable to hold it in, he wet himself halfway.

"Then I'll take the fifth floor."

Machi, who disliked being too close to the ground and felt safer higher up, spoke calmly.

Phinks and Feitan had no objections; neither of them wanted to be near Uvogin.

Machi was there, providing a buffer.

"Then I'll take the fourth floor."

Luke said with a smile.

He was in the middle, neither too high nor too low, which was just right.

"Then I'll take the third floor."

"The second floor is mine."

Phinks and Feitan quickly divided up the remaining two floors.

That left Nobunaga, who hadn't had a chance to speak, opening his mouth awkwardly.

It seemed as if they didn't consider his opinion.

"What else do you need to say?"

Uvogin patted his shoulder nonchalantly.

"This is your home."

"The first floor is yours, no one will take it away from you!"

Nobunaga: "..."

Is there a chance... That he also wanted to live upstairs?

"Uvogin is right. This is Nobunaga's home."

Machi spoke up for once. "Everyone outside knows you live here."

"So if you're on the first floor, you can readily respond to anyone who knocks on the door, minimizing suspicion."

Well, not avoid, but reduce.

After all, with so many people crammed into Nobunaga's house, over time, it would naturally be noticed by those with ulterior motives.

Since Machi had said so, Nobunaga could only agree with a grimace for safety's sake.

He actually wanted to live on the upper floors and enjoy the view.

But with Uvogin and the others moving in, they could all huddle together for warmth and support.

At the very least, with Luke around, he wouldn't be short of food.

At this thought, Nobunaga instinctively smacked his lips.

'Well, it doesn't have to be fancy. Just something like the fried rice Luke had given me as a gift when I opened the door earlier would be fine.'

Then, the others stealthily moved all their belongings from their previous houses to Nobunaga's.

Uvogin and Phinks didn't have much, but Feitan brought over a dead tree from his own home.

They still had to rely on it to feed themselves.

"Alright, now we've at least secured the basics..."

Once everything was settled, Phinks rubbed his hands together while looking at Luke with anticipation.

"Now, Luke, can you please tell me about that power?!"

That power?!

Nobunaga's heart skipped a beat at those words. He realized that he seemed to have... Forgotten to ask Luke about that amazing ability.

Well, that's how Enhancer-type guys work.

"Well..."

Luke lifted his head, glancing at Phinks's eager face, Feitan leaning forward, Machi's calm gaze, and Uvogin's feigned indifference while clearly pricking up his ears, his curiosity obvious.

Only then did Luke's lips curve into a slow smile: "Alright."

While Luke was explaining this power to Phinks and others, Chrollo was also on the move.

Although Luke's miraculous performance and the incredible images he presented intrigued him, Chrollo was also clear-headed and knew that rashly approaching without understanding the other party would easily put him in danger.

So, he was trying to learn more about Luke.

And the kid who knew about Uvogin and others, and who happened to be someone he knew…

"Oh, oh, oh, is this a videotape of the Power Cleaners?!"

She wore two side-parted ponytails and a small, old, but clean, heart-shaped bag around her waist.

Sarasa, a little girl in a simple dress, had been invited to the church's screening room by Pakunoda.

Seeing the images on the television, she couldn't help but exclaim excitedly.

"I heard from Pakunoda, Chrollo, that you're going to dub the Power Cleaners videotape and show it to all the kids in Meteor City..."

Sarasa patted her chest enthusiastically: "When I heard about this from Pakunoda, I really wanted to help you!"

"Then I'll leave it to you, Sarasa."

Chrollo's small face still carried a clear, pure smile.

He then turned to the slightly taller girl next to him, who was always holding a book and had a bunny-like ear-shaped hairpiece in her hair.

"Thank you so much for the help, Sheila."

"No need to be so polite."

Sheila, the girl holding the book, spoke softly, her face showing a gentle smile.

Compared to Sarasa's lively and enthusiastic nature, Sheila was quieter and gentler.

These two were the voice actors Pakunoda had recruited to dub the Power Cleaners characters.

These two have a significant impact on the world.

Sheila had a significant interaction with Kurapika in the future and even influenced his life.

Sarasa, whose death was the key to the transformation of Chrollo and the others into the world-famous Phantom Troupe.

But more on that later.

The tapes Chrollo had found in Uvogin's turf were from the outside world's much-loved cartoon, the Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners, a show adored by children everywhere.

This film is incredibly popular worldwide.

However, because the language spoken in it is from a foreign country, it can't be understood by the dwellers in Meteor City.

Especially for the children. They couldn't comprehend the words at all; they could only appreciate the pictures without truly understanding them.

Chrollo thought: "If everyone could understand the cartoon, they would surely be even happier."

So, he asked Pakunoda to find someone who could help with the dubbing.

Sheila and Sarasa were perfect applicants for this task.

They were both happy to help.

They also discussed screening the film at the religious lecture next Sunday, inviting all the children in Meteor City to watch.

And so, their dubbing efforts quickly got underway.

Thanks to Chrollo's efficiency, the script for the voiceovers was quickly completed.

Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners features five main characters, similar to the Super Sentai from Luke's previous life on Earth.

Pakunoda, Sarasa, and Sheila voiced the three main warriors in Power Cleaners, respectively.

Chrollo voiced all the remaining characters.

"This way, progress will be faster. The more people involved, the higher the risk of being exposed."

"That's right! We absolutely can't let Uvogin know!"

Sarasa gave him a thumbs-up.

"That idiot, if people ignore him, he gets mad and causes trouble, blurting out all kinds of nonsense."

"Sarasa, you seem to know Uvogin very well."

Chrollo asked casually during the dubbing.

"Ah, isn't that the consensus? There shouldn't be a kid in Meteor City who doesn't know Uvogin, right?"

"What about Phinks? Do you know what he's been up to lately?"

"Phinks? He should be with Feitan, right? They always work together."

"Well, Phinks and Feitan, Uvogin and Machi, they always do things together..."

Chrollo got to the point: "Have they had any new companions recently?"

"New companions?"

Sarasa, who was preparing for her voice acting, was startled by those words, then burst into laughter: "With Uvogin's stubborn and foolish personality, only Machi could tolerate him."

"I can't bear to follow him."

"I heard before that there was a guy dressed as a samurai who had a good relationship with Uvogin, but it seems they haven't been together for a long time."

"As for Phinks and Feitan, they've always been on their own. How could someone join them?"

"I admit that although Phinks looks fierce, he's a really good person, but Feitan's personality and temper are a bit peculiar."

"What's going on? Did someone new start hanging around them recently? Should I warn them?"

Chrollo didn't respond to her curious excitement about who could be so reckless as to mix with Uvogin and Phinks.

Instead, he thought to himself: "So it must be someone who only recently joined up with Uvogin's group..."

Well, Chrollo didn't know all the kids in Meteor City, but he knew a good portion of them.

And this sudden newcomer around Uvogin and the others...

"It's really a bit strange."

He thought, then shook his head.

At the invitation of Pakunoda and Sarasa, they also threw themselves into the dubbing process.

They were going to give all the children at Meteor City a surprise next week!

And if they invited all the children at Meteor City to come and watch the screening…

"Uvogin and others will probably come too."
