Chapter 2 - "when two universe connect"

Kartik slipped through the swirling portal before he could even understand what was happening. For a moment, he felt weightless—as if gravity itself had forgotten him. All around him stretched an endless universe: deep, infinite blackness sprinkled with shimmering white stars. He floated through the cosmic silence, unable to tell whether seconds were passing or entire lifetimes.

Then, without warning, the portal spat him out.

Kartik crashed onto a soft bed with a loud thump. He groaned, opening his eyes—only to realize this was not his room. The bed was different, the walls unfamiliar, the air strangely cool and perfumed with something floral.

Before he could gather his thoughts, he heard a gasp.

A girl stood in the room, staring at him wide-eyed. They both screamed at the same time, voices bouncing off the strange walls. Her scream echoed louder, and within moments, two of the girls friends and a sprit animal with a little tail who was floating burst into the room.

All four froze.

They stared at Kartik as if he were a ghost.

They began speaking rapidly in a language Kartik had never heard—soft, airy, and musical. Yet somehow… he understood every word, as if the portal had stitched their language into his mind.

Trying to calm himself, Kartik walked to the window—and his breath caught in his throat.

The room wasn't on the ground. It wasn't even in a building.

It was floating.

A massive tower stretched high above the clouds, reaching into the upper sky like a giant's staircase. Dozens more buildings drifted across the heavens like islands—an entire continent suspended in the sky.

A sky continent.

After a long moment, the girl finally spoke to him in a calmer tone.

"My name is Eisha," she said, pointing to herself. Then she gestured toward the other two. "And these are my friends—Aema and Dort."

Kartik introduced himself, explaining everything: the strange dream, the hidden portal behind his cupboard, the fall, and the portal between worlds.

Kartik introduce himself in there language he was sixteen—a high school student from a busy city—their eyes sparkled. Kartik described his world: roads crowded with cars, glowing streetlights, shops, gardens, and the beauty of his city at night.

Aema and Dort's curiosity exploded instantly.

"We want to see your world!" they insisted.

But Eisha shook her head. "It's dangerous. We don't know anything about it."

Yet after much begging, convincing, and promises of safety, Eisha reluctantly agreed.

But with a condition that they only spend 12 youn (12 hours) Together, they approached the portal again. Its blue and black spirals pulsed softly, waiting.

One by one, they stepped through.

A rush of light.

A whirl of gravity.

And then—silence.

They landed in Kartik's bedroom. It was nighttime, and the moment they arrived, a loud boom echoed through the house.

Kartik barely had time to react before his door swung open.

His mother stood there, eyes wide, staring at the unbelievable scene in front of her…
