Chapter 11 - Kita Will Have to Thank Us

After who knows how many different workout positions, Kita Ikuyo had finally completed her entire training session.

Kanzaki Saku was leisurely tidying up his school uniform shirt, while Kita Ikuyo sat beside a pile of discarded cardboard boxes, her school skirt crumpled and rolled up to her waist.

'That was so exhausting, but today, I truly became a woman.'

It looked like Kita had completely entered a brain-dead mode.

Taking his phone out of his pocket, Kanzaki Saku took the initiative and said to Kita, "Can you give me your contact info? Call me anytime you've saved up enough money!"

"E-E-Ehhh!!!"

"R-R-R-Really? Is that okay?" Kita Ikuyo clearly hadn't expected this steamy encounter to have a possible follow-up.

She fumbled through the pockets of her disheveled clothes, only to come up empty.

'I didn't bring it! Because I never thought anyone would ever contact me, I left it in my desk drawer! He won't think I don't want to exchange numbers with him, will he?!'

'A boy's contact info, which I worked so hard to get!!!'

Kita Ikuyo fell to her knees, her entire being turning to grayscale ash. It felt like the sky was falling.

Kanzaki Saku saw Kita's predicament and reassured her not to worry, and they then exchanged contact information verbally.

After saving Kita's contact info, Kanzaki Saku once again said something that made her pupils tremble.

"If I feel the need, I can contact you myself. In that case, it'll be free for you."

"Absolutely! In fact, please, you must contact me! No matter when, I'll be there at your beck and call!"

As she spoke, Kita Ikuyo's eyes were as determined as someone swearing an oath to join a political party.

"Alright, that's enough for today. School's almost over. I'll contact you later." Kanzaki Saku put his phone back in his pocket.

Just as Kita was about to say something more, the sound of light footsteps suddenly echoed from the other end of the hallway. She froze instantly and quickly tackled Kanzaki Saku to the ground.

"The seal of the Wicked Eye of the Tyrant seems to have weakened in this location..." A childish yet deliberately profound voice drew closer. "It appears a holy ground investigation is necessary!"

Through a gap between the boxes, Kanzaki Saku could see a small figure in a black cloak standing not far from them. A rebellious ahoge peeked out from under the hood—it was none other than the mysterious cloaked girl, Takanashi Rikka.

Rikka suddenly crouched down, her black-gloved fingers tracing the ground lightly.

"The chaotic aura here is unusually dense..." She took a deep breath. "And it is mixed with the sweet nectar of a fallen angel and..."

Her voice trailed off as her gaze locked onto a forgotten item in the corner.

It was Kita Ikuyo's small wallet, which had fallen out during her 'exercise'. It now lay open in the dust, completely empty.

"Could it be... a ritual of sacrifice?" Rikka took a shocked step back, pulling her cloak tighter.

"And there's such a strong residual wave of pleasure..."

Behind the mats, Kita Ikuyo clamped her hand over her mouth, her cheeks flushing crimson.

Kanzaki Saku wore a thoughtful expression and gently placed a hand on Kita's trembling shoulder.

"It seems today is not a good day to linger." Rikka muttered to herself and turned to leave, her cloak sweeping out in an exaggerated arc.

"I shall return another day with my sacred relics to investigate further..."

Once the footsteps faded away, Kita collapsed limply onto Kanzaki Saku.

"I-It's over... Takanashi-san saw us..."

"She didn't see anything," Kanzaki Saku, the one with the superpower, said calmly, adjusting his cuffs.

"Just some chuunibyou fantasy lines."

"But my wallet..."

"I'll get it back for you another day." Kanzaki Saku leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Now, you should get off me, or we'll have to start another round."

Kita Ikuyo immediately shot upright. She was completely drained; another round and she wouldn't make it home today.

Kanzaki Saku stood up and extended a hand to her.

"Can you get up?"

As Kita used his hand to pull herself up, her legs gave way, and she fell right back into his arms.

The accident made her blush again, but she secretly took a deep breath of his refreshing scent.

"I'm sorry..."

"It's fine." Kanzaki Saku helped her stand steady.

"Muscle soreness after a special training session is normal."

By the time the two of them walked out of the abandoned hallway, one after the other, it was already after school.

Kita Ikuyo gazed at Kanzaki Saku's back as he walked ahead, then suddenly summoned all the courage she had in her life and ran to catch up.

"Um..."

"Yes?"

"About today... thank you very much." She wrung her hands, her voice growing quieter. "Maybe you just picked someone at random... but being able to... be with a boy like you, I feel like I've gained a lot of confidence. I don't feel so much like a maggot in the gutter anymore..."

Kanzaki Saku stopped and turned to face her.

He couldn't help but marvel inwardly at this reversed world.

All he had to do was spread his legs, and not only did both parties have a good time and he made money, but the other person even thanked him for it.

"Kita-san, you were never a maggot," Kanzaki Saku said with a look of profound compassion.

"It's just that no one had the discerning eye to recognize your worth."

Those words made Kita Ikuyo's eyes suddenly grow hot. In all these years, it was the first time she had ever heard something so moving.

Kita hurriedly lowered her head, afraid Kanzaki Saku would see the tears welling up.

Although Kita Ikuyo hadn't shown it, deep down she had looked down on Kanzaki Saku a little, thinking he was a promiscuous Omega male.

But after Kanzaki Saku said that, she was certain that he was a truly good man. There must be some unspeakable hardship forcing him to do compensated dating.

If Kanzaki Saku knew what Kita Ikuyo was thinking, he would definitely play along and spin a sob story.

Right, right, right. Then he'd hit her with all the classics: the sick mother, the gambling father, the sister who needs tuition, the broken family...

"I-I'm leaving now!" Kita Ikuyo turned and ran away.

Watching her stumble away, Kanzaki Saku began to imagine what it would be like when the Kessoku Band was finally assembled.

Just then, a faint sound came from the next classroom. He turned to look; it sounded like a tree branch tapping against the window.

"Looks like the audience hasn't gone far." He gave a meaningful smile and turned towards the school building.

Under a desk in the adjacent abandoned classroom, Takanashi Rikka was frantically writing in a thick grimoire.

"Confirmed! The transfer student, Kanzaki Saku, is indeed a Nightmare Lord hiding in the mortal realm! He can collect human souls using pleasure energy! I must inform the Sacred Inquisition at once..."

She suddenly paused, stroking her chin in thought.

"However, the person who made the deal with Kanzaki Saku looked very happy... Could it be that the Nightmare Lord's contract is actually a good deal?"

Rikka shook her head and continued writing, "Regardless, he must be closely monitored. If necessary, I will intervene with force..."
