Ish-man Island stood still at the sight of the leviathan, as if abiding by the hierarchy of nature; they trembled at its presence, eyes that had seen centuries of life. Ramos looked into the eyes of the beast, his body already rejecting the carriage of Doll.
Heart hammering against his chest, the organ wanting to rip out of its host, and still, despite this crippling fear, he stood defiantly.

His inner voice ordered, channeling all his haki into a single, overwhelming display of will, as he challenged the Sea King for supremacy.

"Human."
"Quite the scare tactic, Gramps. It's annoying."
The Sea King let out a chuckle, surprised by the audacity of the human.
"You still talk even as death approaches?" The ancient voice, humoured.
" Even if I die today, I'll die standing than a coward. " Ramos stated, his voice firm, no fear evident.
"Tell me boy?"
"I'm not a child, Gramps. " Ramos responded defiantly, pouring more of his will into the creature, even if he dies in the process of domination, so be it.
"Your spirit reminds me of an old friend of mine...a brave but foolish warrior." His thunderous laugh, shook Fish-man.
"So what's it going to be, old man?"
A breath of silence passed, and Ramos felt his body weakening, his own cells attacking him as a last resort to balance the haki usage.
" Ugghh–" Blood slipped out of his lip, his eyes were bloodshot, and veins decorated his forehead.
"You're dying. "
"It's just a bit of b-blood... no biggie." Ramos trailed off, voice straining with exhaustion.
The leviathan looked at the boy, truly impressed by his devotion to protect his loved ones, the monster showed its fangs, jaws big enough to swallow an Island.
"Boy, promise me one thing...protect the Princess."
" I never stopped protecting the crybaby. " He chuckled, tiredly.
"I see in the new future you will bud heads with another warrior for her heart~"
"Heart? What are you implying you pervert!" Ramos accused the ancient being, cheeks pink from a growing blush."I-I don't even. See her like that–she's way too tall for me!" Ramos made excuses.
"Enough brat, I must return to my slumber. I trust you to keep Poseidon safe from the world. You serve the very people who will haunt her down, but my intuition is telling me, you will choose the right path." The ancient one spoke.
Before Ramos could ask what he meant, the being went back to the abyss, the form that loomed over the Fish-man Island, now gone, light returned to the home of mer-folk.
"Oh–crap," Ramos announced, body refusing function, mind slipping into the dream world.
"Ramos!" Doll yelled.
Ramos crumbled to the ground, Doll landing on his back.
[Ryugu kingdom]
Two days have passed since the incident, Ramos has been bedridden for the duration, occasionally gets visits from his comrades, and the persistent Princess.
"Ramos-kun, do you need a pillow adjustment?" Shirahoshi asked,
"Shirahoshi, you're literally crushing me." Ramos groaned at the giant hand crushing his chest.
"Serves you right." Gion laughed.
"Can we leave now?".Sonya asked, grunting at her weakening body from the salty water.
"Can you guys not argue while I'm getting crushed. " Ramos pleaded, Shirahoshi's tender intention only hurts the wounds.
King Neptune looked at the human being pampered by his daughter with disdain.
"Ramos is it?" Neptune questioned.
Ramos nodded.
"I would like to humbly apologise for the earlier imprisonment. " Neptune bowed.
"There's no need for that your highness –we are sorry for the havoc we caused," Ramos admitted.
Neptune was shocked by this; he thought the young man would revel in the submission of a Fish-man.
"Neptune-sama. What will you do with our crazy Aramaki?" Doll wondered.
Even though everything has calmed down, there's still the big issue of Henry Hornigold and his pirates still breathing but imprisoned, and Aramaki, the main culprit of the destruction, is currently being treated.
"I realised taking action towards a military man will cause more problems for us and our relationship with the surface world." Neptune sighed.
Ramos perched up,ignoring the pain in his body to approach Neptune. "Lord Neptune, I think I know how to settle this." He grinned, looking at Shirahoshi.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She blushed.
"Princess Shirahoshi –" Ramos purred,
"Would you like to go on a date with me?"
Everyone's eyes bulged, gasping.
"Ramos, what are you –"
"You idiot!"
"Shameless bastard. "
Three disapproving voices lashed out at his display.
Doll livid,punched him in the face,sending him flying through the medical room wall.
"YOU SHAMLESS BASTARD!" Doll barked,fist coated with haki.
"D-doll...wh-y?" Ramos groaned out.
"Do you wish to die ?" Gion pointed her sword at him, eyes blazing with anger.
Sonya looked at him with disgust, " You are nothing but a dog." She shamed him, taking out her Jitte to bash him with it.
King Neptune and hus sons watched the pummeling of the Marine who saved their beloved Shirahoshi.
Shirahoshi, covered her fave in embarrassment, tears flowing, more dramatic than her actually sad." Please don't hurt him–I would like to go on that date~"
Her response only doubled their efforts, Ramos would learn an important lesson today.
[Fish-man cafe]
Sharley looked at her crystal ball, the future she saw has been eradicated, now peace is clear but to her dismay, the ball started fogging up, no clear image but a laugh,a sickening laugh she's heard before.
"T-This can't be!" The fortune teller, swam off,to the royal castle.
The crystal ball,continued the vocal communication, a laugh that sends shivers to pirates and Marine alike,belonging to an infamous Pirate.
