Omni Verse – Chapter 22
After what Walker said, Pugo is left in shock and sinks deep into thought.
Pugo: What did my grandfather mean by that…? I don't understand.
Meanwhile, Rosso summons his strongest puppet—the Acid-Armed Puppet.
It is so powerful that it attacks with acidic bullets and toxic gas; everything it hits melts instantly. Rosso gains a huge advantage.
Luka: Guys, this is a very tough puppet. Be careful.
Solom: I agree. And it looks like it can attack in every direction with its weapon. This is bad.
Leonardos studies the puppet carefully, and suddenly an idea comes to his mind.
Leonardos: I think I know what to do.
Jamie and Pegas, distract it.
Mariana, analyze the monster—find its data and its weakness.
Luka and Stardust, move to the front and protect us.
Luvo and Lino, focus on destroying its weapon.
Solom and I will attack from the back using wind and flame techniques to create a flying fire show.
And Pugo… you'll freeze it.
…Pugo?
Pugo remains frozen, lost in thought. Leonardos walks up to him and asks if he's okay, but Pugo doesn't respond. This time, Leonardos gets angry.
Leonardos: Say something, Pugo! What's wrong with you? We made a plan!
When Pugo still doesn't react, Leonardos asks Mariana to create a freezing robot to help them.
At that moment, Rosso gives the order. The puppet attacks with bullets. The team dodges while Mariana works on the robot. After a while, Mariana finishes it, and the plan begins.
Pegas transforms into a clay racing car and circles around the puppet, drawing its attention. Jamie turns into a bird and flies around it, supporting Pegas. The puppet fully focuses on them. Then Mariana finishes her analysis.
Mariana: If Lino and Luvo move from the right, jump, and attack the weapon together, they can break it.
Then Luka and Stardust advance from the front.
And finally—boom—Solom, Leonardos, and Pugo finish it… if Pugo wakes up.
Luvo throws his ninja stars, breaking the trigger. Then Lino transforms into a flame parrot, and together with Luvo's blade attack, they shatter the weapon. Luka and Stardust move forward and use their techniques. Rosso is shocked.
At the same time, Mariana uses an armed robot to take the Star Stone from Rosso—but now Rosso's only goal is to kill them.
Luka: Earth Technique: Hardened Rocks!
Stardust: Star Technique: Star Meteor!
As the stars fall toward the puppet, Rosso commands it to dodge. However, one of Luka's exploding rocks detonates on half of the puppet's body, destroying half of it.
Then Leonardos, Solom, and the robot move in from behind. The robot tries to freeze the puppet, but it fails—the robot is weaker. The team is shocked. The puppet suddenly punches, sending Leonardos and Solom flying, though they don't fall. Both of them glare angrily—and comically—at Pugo.
Rosso then enlarges the puppet and creates copies of it. The team is stunned again. The puppets keep attacking with massive blows, and the warriors struggle. Despite everything, Luka pushes forward, uses his earth technique, and causes a landslide. The ground splits open, trapping the puppets in the hole and buying the warriors time.
Luka immediately runs to Pugo and speaks to him seriously.
Luka: I don't know what you're thinking, Pugo, but you can't do this right now. The team needs you. They need their captain. Do you understand? Come back, Pugo.
Pugo's Vision
Pugo finds himself in a quiet, unfamiliar village. He looks around and suddenly sees his grandfather. He runs to him and asks the question.
Pugo: Grandpa… because of what you told me, I even forgot myself.
Walker: If you keep doing this, you'll never learn that energy technique. Never—ever. Giving up on yourself is the way of the weak. Do you understand?
Pugo: Then what should I do? It's too dangerous.
Walker: Yes—but you can be stronger than it. All you have to do is gather power inside yourself. Not just any power—anger, ambition, and desire. That is the secret of the energy technique, my child. Now use it. Help your friends, your comrades, your team.
Pugo: Okay, Grandpa. I'll do as you say.
Pugo returns to reality and reacts immediately.
Pugo: Don't worry, Luka. I'll destroy it.
Luka smiles with relief.
Luka: Ah… the captain is back.
The others notice and rejoice as well.
Stardust: Yes! You're finally back. You're amazing, Pugo!
Mariana: Pugo, now you'll save us.
Pugo prepares to attack.
Pugo: What did my grandpa say? Anger, ambition, and desire…
I'm extremely angry. My ambition won't stop. And I really want to destroy them.
We already have the Star Stone—so let's go.
Rosso: So what if he's back? My puppets are the best!
Go, my darlings—bury them in a bullet disaster!
The puppets attack with massive acidic bullets and gas. Pugo uses a technique, activating Glorious Time, but one puppet emerges from his blind spot while the others keep firing. Pugo dodges the bullets and gas, then tries again—this time freezing one puppet with a freezing technique. By accident, the acidic bullets hit another puppet. Finally, one bullet ricochets off Pugo's clothes, tearing them slightly.
The team realizes how dangerous this is and joins the fight again.
Leonardos uses his flame technique—Flame Tornado—burning one puppet.
Solom uses his wind technique, destroying three puppets with a wind explosion.
Luka kills eight puppets with exploding rocks.
Luvo and Lino combine their powers and cut down five more.
Of the last four puppets, three are destroyed by Mariana's robot, Pegas's punch, and Jamie transforming into a gorilla and smashing them. Rosso creates two more puppets, but Stardust instantly annihilates them with Star Technique: Star Beams.
Now only Rosso and his original puppet remain.
Rosso makes a terrifying move. He equips the puppet with a Power Axe. When it slams into the ground, a pulling force spreads, violently throwing the warriors away.
Pugo stands up again and tells the team not to interfere. He faces Rosso one-on-one.
Rosso controls the puppet masterfully, using both the weapon and the axe. Pugo dodges with Glorious Time. A long duel begins. The acid-armed, axe-wielding puppet fights brilliantly—but Pugo uses his techniques just as well.
Finally, Rosso grows impatient and prepares a massive attack. The axe and the weapon connect in the air, forming a huge green acidic energy sphere, growing even larger with added gas. Pugo seems desperate. The warriors try to stop it with their powers, but the energy pushes them back and prevents them from using their techniques.
Rosso: Warriors, was it? The name doesn't matter anymore. You're going to be erased.
Just as all hope seems lost, Pugo laughs. The team is shocked. Smoke rises from Pugo's mouth. He clenches his fists. Memories flood his mind—especially his grandfather's words. Blue electricity bursts from Pugo's body.
Pugo: Grandpa… I'll do this for everyone here. And for you too. This will be my first thank you.
Rosso is completely confused.
Pugo speaks in a cool, thrilling voice:
Pugo: Energy Technique… Energy Serpent!
A blue electric serpent shoots forward. Rosso doesn't know what to do. The warriors stare in awe.
Luka: That's it… the Energy Technique. The pure power spoken of for years. Pugo did it.
Stardust: Wow… Pugo, that's so cool.
Leonardos: And incredibly powerful.
Pugo continues advancing at high speed in serpent form. Rosso panics and creates countless puppets—but Pugo passes straight through them, and they all explode.
Rosso's most trusted puppet forms a shield, but Pugo shatters it, pierces the puppet, and turns it to ash with electricity. The green energy sphere disappears instantly.
Still refusing to give up, Rosso creates a wall of puppets—but Pugo breaks through them as well and appears right in front of Rosso. Rosso is helpless. Pugo lunges forward, shattering Rosso's heart.
Before the Energy Serpent vanishes, it moves to engulf him. At that moment, Rosso accepts his fate.
Rosso: My life was like a puppet's life—always just entertainment and jokes… until now.
Lord Ludos never called pure power the strongest… and now I understand why.
This child may one day defeat Lord Ludos, destroy the Krukos, become a Space Emperor, and move on to other universes.
If he comes for me… goodbye, world.
Rosso speaks his final words.
The Energy Serpent swallows him.
But something unexpected happens—Pugo suddenly collapses. Luka realizes the serpent is about to explode and shouts for the warriors to run. It's too late.
The serpent explodes, creating a massive blue blast.
After the explosion… the warriors are nowhere to be seen.
Are the Warriors alive… or are they dead?
