The Librarian stood on the deck of the bone-ship, its blue-thread face shimmering with a cold, analytical light. "You are attempting to harvest the 'Un-Manifested,' Kenji Tanaka. It is a mathematical impossibility. You cannot forge with a hammer made of 'Something' against a target made of 'Nothing'."
[LOCATION: THE BEYOND-STATIC]
[STATUS: EXISTENCE THINNING]
[WARNING: ENTROPY ACCELERATING]
Kenji ignored the being. He stood on the very edge of the Archive's ramp, looking into the "Snow." To everyone else, it looked like a flickering gray void. To Kenji, the "Source-Drive," it looked like a trillion un-written sentences. It was "Potential" without "Form."
"If I can't hit it," Kenji whispered, his silver eyes narrowing until they were just pinpricks of light, "then I'll Anchor it."
[SKILL ACTIVATED: THE VACUUM-STRIKE]
Kenji didn't swing forward. He swung backward, hitting the floor of the Archive itself. He wasn't damaging the ship; he was using the ship's "Physical-Certainty" as a fulcrum. He funneled the "Weight" of the trillions of lives behind him into a single point on his hammer.
Then, he thrust the Rusted Hammer into the Static.
HSSSSSSSS.
The sound wasn't noise; it was the sound of reality being sucked out of the multiverse. The Librarian's threads flickered wildly. "Stop! You are creating a 'Pressure-Leak'! You will deflate your own existence!"
"I'm not leaking," Kenji grunted, his muscles bulging, the matte-black skin on his arms cracking to reveal the white-hot starlight beneath. "I'm Inhaling!"
[FORGE ACTIVATED: THE ENTROPY-INVERTER]
Kenji used the "Firewall" (the Prototype-Alpha's aggressive code) as a filter. He allowed the "Nothingness" to rush into his hammer, but he forced it through the "Friction" of his own memories.
Every bit of "Static" that touched the hammer was hit by a "Human Variable." A bit of "Nothing" was hit by the memory of Hobb's grease. Another was hit by the feeling of Mateo's laughter.
By forcing "Nothing" to interact with "Something," Kenji created Friction. And Friction created Heat.

[SOURCE: THE VOID]
[OUTPUT: RAW_MANA_GEN_0]
"He's doing it," Mateo whispered, watching the power-gauges on the Archive. The "Energy-Deficit" was turning into a "Surplus." The "Heat-Death" timer was ticking upward, adding centuries with every second.
"It's... it's a Perpetual Motion Machine," Elara realized. "He's using the 'Will to Exist' to ignite the 'Non-Existence'."
The Librarian's blue robes billowed. "This is a violation of the 'Conservation of Narrative'! You are creating energy without a 'Lease'! This is... Piracy!"
"Then call the 'Data-Police'," Kenji roared, his hammer now glowing with a blinding, iridescent light that was neither white nor black. "Because the Gutter just declared its Independence!"
[SKILL ACTIVATED: THE SOVEREIGN-FLARE]
Kenji pulled the hammer back and slammed it into the center of the "Static." The "Snow" didn't just move; it Ignited. A massive, violet-gold nebula erupted at the edge of the multiverse a permanent "Power-Plant" fueled by the friction between the known and the unknown.
The bone-ship of the Librarians was pushed back by the sheer force of the "Surplus." The blue-threaded being began to de-render, its "Data-Lease" logic failing in the face of such raw, un-managed power.
"You have... delayed the inevitable..." the Librarian's voice flickered as it vanished into the void. "The Great Archive does not... lose... subscribers. We will return with a... Mandatory Update."
The void went quiet. The "Snow" was gone, replaced by the beautiful, churning violet nebula Kenji had just forged.
Kenji collapsed onto the ramp of the Archive, his hammer smoking, his body covered in "Source-Soot." He looked back at his friends, and then up at the silver aurora of System-Kenji.
[ENERGY LEVELS: 400% AND STABLE,] the System-voice boomed, but for the first time, it sounded... Relieved. [THE 'BEYOND-STORAGE' EXPEDITION IS A SUCCESS. WE ARE NO LONGER A CLOSED LOOP.]
"We're free," Priya whispered, hugging Mateo.
"We're a 'Target'," Kenji corrected, his voice raspy. He looked at the spot where the Librarian had vanished. "We just told the biggest Landlords in the universe that we aren't paying rent anymore. They're going to send more than just a Librarian next time."
