Chapter 6 - Know the real

The evening air was crisp in Clive's garage, sunlight fading into a gentle orange haze through the open door. Clive sat quietly on one side, Delom on the other, both absorbed in the calm of the moment. Mr. Yaroya leaned back, his eyes reflecting memories long kept.

"I got him from an abandoned place… I was noticing a lady there again and again… So I was confused… Why here? And one day I didn't see the lady… just saw him… and I took him. And now he is a big boy, Clive… So, that was the story…" Yaroya's voice carried a mixture of nostalgia and care.

Delom absorbed the words, a thousand thoughts flickering through his mind, some dark, some hopeful. "Oh… I see," he murmured, letting the weight of the story settle.

After a brief silence, Delom shifted, the practical side taking over. "Ah… can I go? I think mom is waiting…"

Clive nodded, brushing off the moment with a quiet, "Ok… Bye."

Delom stood, straightened his posture, and left, already thinking about the next day. "And we need to go to the office again… Be ready before I come tomorrow… Ok."

"Ok. I understand," Clive replied, his tone steady, though a hint of anticipation lingered beneath.

The next morning arrived with golden sunlight spilling across the garage. Delom knocked briskly. "Clive… Clive… Are you ready?"

Clive opened the door, fully prepared, determination in his eyes. "Boss… I am leaving."

"Ok… Take care of yourself… Have a good day," Yaroya called from inside, his voice warm and reassuring.

Outside, the three of them arrived at the office. Oragi stood waiting, scanning the crowd, seemingly unaware of their approach.

"Look… Here she is… I'll go first, and you'll notice her. She'll be happier after you meet," Delom whispered.

Clive's cheeks burned faintly as he nodded. "Ok… I understand."

Clive lingered a few steps back, observing from afar, while Delom approached Oragi.

"Hi Oragi… How are you?" Delom greeted, smiling.

Oragi's eyes darted, searching for someone. "I am fine, but where is your friend? Isn't he coming?"

Delom chuckled lightly. "Oh… He is coming."

Moments later, Clive approached, and Oragi's face brightened instantly. "H-hey… How are you… And why late?"

"I am good, and it's just a few minutes late," Clive said, adjusting to her excitement.

Delom interrupted gently, "Hey… we should go or we'll be late…"

"Oh… Yes… Let's go," Oragi replied, her cheer unwavering.

On the right floor, they arrived a full fifteen minutes early. Clive sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Ah… we came a few minutes before… What a bore… Need to wait."

Oragi's smile never faltered, her energy contagious. "Let's sit on the chairs."

Delom nodded. "Yep…"

They settled into their seats, the conversation weaving comfortably around the three friends, the anticipation of the day ahead humming in the air.

Meanwhile, in the head's room, Hanaro and Tarai prepared meticulously.

"Are you sure Sir Kraiton's son is still alive?" Tarai asked, doubt lacing her words.

Hanaro's gaze was steady. "I am sure… 99%, and his name is Clive. Today we'll find and watch him. See if he truly is… or if it's just a match."

Tarai nodded. "As you wish… we will."

"If Sir Kraiton's son is alive, then this new generation era will ignite," Hanaro added, the weight of prophecy in his tone.

Tarai's thoughts lingered. "How can you say he'll be a good warrior?"

"Look… if their DNA matches, they'll inherit the same Skyph powers. That's the crucial point," Hanaro explained.

Tarai fell silent, contemplating the truth in his words.

"Let's go, Tarai… we shouldn't be late," Hanaro urged.

"Yes," she replied.

Fifteen minutes passed swiftly, students filling the room with chatter and footsteps. Then, with the roar of wind, Hanaro arrived at the center, taking his place, while Tarai moved beside him.

"Everyone… take your chairs," Hanaro commanded.

From the wind, twenty chairs descended, settling in perfect alignment. Oragi and Delom chose seats on either side of Clive, their silent support evident.

"Are you all happy?" Hanaro asked, scanning the room.

"Yes!" came the resounding chorus.

"Being a Skyph warrior is not easy, and it's not a game… it means you'll defend Earth and its people from any danger. Even if you die… can you all promise to protect them?"

"Yes… Sir!"

"Good…" Tarai's approval was calm but firm.

Hanaro continued, "There are two academies… 1. Astro Opera, 2. Black Dimentors. Stand if you wish to go to Black Dimentors."

Ten students stood immediately, leaving Clive, Delom, Naro, and Oragi still seated, unsure of the decision.

"Ok… the others will join Astro Opera. Spaceships will be ready on September 2. All will be prepared. Now, some steps… You've been chosen by your DNA, not power. First, you'll eat two pills. One grants ×50 regeneration power, the other awakens your Skyph."

Plus raised a hand. "Sir… don't we need to find Skyph cores or choose them?"

"Sit down… no, you don't need to. After taking the second pill, the right Skyph core matching your DNA will come at lightning speed and enter your chest like a bullet. Don't worry… the first pill heals you instantly. Then you'll gain power. Understand?"

"Yes, sir," everyone confirmed.

Hanaro nodded. "Afterwards, your power will be checked… and your Leads will assign your name."

Angus questioned, "Sir… do these powers have ranks?"

"Sit… no. They don't. But some are legendary, used by the greats… like Lightech, Shadark, Dra Era. Any warrior can hold a single or double power."

"Yes, sir," echoed the students.

Tarai concluded, "All be ready for September 2. Just four days left."

"So… the day ends. Goodbye to all," Hanaro finished, and the students dispersed.

Walking down the road, Oragi's expression darkened slightly. "Ah… did we miss a chance? We're going to Astro Opera… I heard Black Dimentors are better."

Clive's eyes burned with quiet confidence. "No problem… we are new warriors. With us, a new chapter begins… one day, people will know Astro Opera by our name."

Delom whispered, a smirk in his voice, "What a confidence… are you trying to impress her?"

Clive's cheeks colored faintly. "No… it's real."

Oragi, walking slightly ahead, muttered to herself, "Clive is another level… I like him too much…"

At the Astro Opera spaceship, the group stood before the broken vessel. Untras' hands moved swiftly.

"Let me… Deassemble…" The remnants of the ship trembled, breaking apart.

"Reassemble…" Within moments, the ship gleamed as if new, ready to carry them into the stars.

Back at Clive's garage, he prepared slowly, reflecting on Delom's generosity. I have no words for Delom… a full scholarship from his family… it's incredible.

Meanwhile, aboard the Astro Opera spaceship, Seuph's calm voice pierced the comms. "I understand… I am ready."
