Dear esteemed readers, there's a big difference in exposure and recommendations for new books now compared to before. Whether a book gets recommended largely depends on the number of people who pay to read it consecutively.
Without exposure and recommendations, it's hard for a book to succeed. Many authors end up quitting because they aren't recommended, and editors often advise them to just start over.
If convenient, please do keep up with the consecutive reading. Try not to leave the book dormant, or it might just die out.
Consecutive reading means the number of users who read up to the latest chapter within 24 hours (accounts must have recharged within 3 months, even one penny counts, and stay on the latest chapter for more than a minute).
So as long as a chapter is updated, if you have time, it's best to read it within 24 hours, or swipe to the latest chapter, leave some comments, and check out what others are saying about that chapter, as these actions count towards consecutive reading.
Finally, although valid consecutive reads are counted from paid accounts (recharged within 3 months), we don't look down on those who read for free. After all, the current situation is tough, and making money isn't easy for anyone. But if you have the means, you can top up a buck to become a paid account; it isn't expensive and such consecutive reading helps new books a lot.
Thanks everyone! Dongdong dong (kowtowing)
