This robot is called Dr. Zhi, jointly completed by the West Continent Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and Da Jiang Robot Laboratory, with a height of 170 cm and a weight of 60 kg. The whole body is made from alloy, presenting a sci-fi silver-white color on the entire body, including arms, torso, and legs. Only the head and neck, as well as the knee joints, are in a deep metallic matte black color. Notably, in order to avoid the uncanny valley effect, Dr. Zhi's head does not have human facial features but is equipped with a smooth, flat egg-shaped screen that can display various information according to commands.
So Dr. Zhi is not that kind of robot image most science fiction films depict, which have facial features and bionic skin, looking almost indistinguishable from real humans. Dr. Zhi is more like a humanoid machine that stays still, giving off a strong technological vibe and a sense of safety.
