**Scene 08 – "The Great River"**
*Nad has just defeated hundreds of dangerous Lava Birds… and Tagr returns to check on him. He finds him sitting in contemplation… then notices the massacre Nad has caused… The dismembered birds float on the river's surface, their black blood covering the waters.*
**Tagr:** "What have you done, Nad?… Did the poor birds anger you?"
**Nad:** "No, Tagr. It is my desire to fight… to find answers… Tagr… were you at the castle?"
**Tagr:** "Yes."
**Nad:** "Curiosity crosses my mind… That black sword in Lord Joser's possession… I want to know its power."
**Tagr:** "Curiosity… That sword, if drawn even partially, can cause terrifying destruction… And something like that… you must avoid being curious about it… Now I understand what Lord Wauzin meant about the curious ones."
**Nad:** "What do you mean?"
**Tagr:** "I am leaving now… Stay alone with your curiosity."
**Nad:** "Tagr… wait, Tagr!"
*But Tagr walked away without looking back because Nad is very curious.*
