Thinking about this, Evelyn clenched her fists and took a gentle step forward, exuding an indomitable aura.
Evelyn kept her expression serious, her gaze lightly falling on Shannon Dunn, calm and miraculous, as dazzling as a blooming flower.
"Miss Dunn indeed said many bad things about you in front of me and did quite a few things to try and break up our marriage," Evelyn confessed truthfully. "I imagine she thinks she's quite capable and has a company in secret, so she wants to become the Lockwood Family's Young Madam!"
Then, Evelyn added another sentence: "However, Miss Dunn, since you want to be a Young Madam, why would you do things detrimental to the Lockwood Family? Do you want to marry my husband purely for money?"
Listening to Evelyn, Caden Lockwood's eyes conveyed strong approval.
If Evelyn had pleaded for Shannon Dunn, he would have given her a stern lesson.
Fortunately, she's not a foolish woman who can't discern right from wrong!
