"You..." Evelyn stuttered in fright, "You must be joking, right?"
"We're a married couple, so there's no problem taking a bath together." Caden Lockwood described it calmly, as if stating the obvious.
He paused for a moment, and specifically asked, "Aunt May, isn't that right?"
"Sir is absolutely correct!" Aunt May responded enthusiastically.
Evelyn's face turned stiff, she looked at Caden Lockwood, then at Aunt May, and felt they must be joking.
She and Caden were in a contract marriage!
They could get divorced at any time!
They're not a real couple, so why should they bathe together?
"I... um... haha..." She had lost her appetite, "I'm full, so sleepy, I'll go to sleep."
Watching Evelyn's hasty departure, Caden Lockwood's lips curled into a faint smile as he continued to eat, his actions unhurried.
"Aunt May." Caden's tone was neither warm nor cold, "When it comes to her bathing, don't interfere."
Aunt May nodded, looking like she wouldn't help even if it killed her.
