"Finn, how could you do this!" Evelyn exclaimed, "You clearly told me you were fired and said you didn't even have money for food, so I lent you five thousand dollars!"
"I can't do anything if you won't admit it," Finn said coldly, "Anyway, I don't have any other evidence, just that five thousand dollar transfer record."
"You're just..."
"Mr. Lockwood!" Finn interrupted Evelyn, "You can go ask at the school, before you appeared, there were already rumors about me and Evelyn."
Evelyn opened her mouth, her throat dry as if something was stuck, unable to make a sound.
Finn's sudden change of tone made her feel this wasn't so simple.
It seemed he was framing her on purpose.
But, why?
To make her and Caden Lockwood fight?
"Mr. Lockwood, I've made myself clear enough. I know this isn't a great look for you, but the things that need to be resolved must be resolved properly."
