Her expression froze awkwardly, lips curled in an uncomfortable smile. Evelyn wanted to force a smile, but no matter how hard she tried, it was powerless.
Clenching her fists, she softly said, "What a coincidence."
"I was just wondering if you were still at school, and then I ran into you." Logan Shaw spoke gently, "Did you just get out of school?"
Earlier, he was playing the piano in the music room and saw her silhouette in the window. He thought he was seeing things.
He didn't expect that it was really her.
Evelyn nodded, "Yes!"
Hugging her books, she felt a little guilty inside, standing awkwardly, trying to find an excuse to leave first, but her mind was blank.
Her eyes involuntarily drifted towards the music room, wondering if his girlfriend was in there.
That girl was indeed beautiful and classy; it's understandable that Logan would like her.
For someone like him, she was indeed out of reach!
